They obviously have 3 of the best hitters in MLB. In Kwan, Ramirez, and Nayor. They also have half a dozen guys who are coming into their own. If Gavin Williams can come back and be the pitcher we know he can be that will give the rotation a very solid 1-2 punch with him and Bibee.

He is in his first year as a manager at any level, but that doesn't seem to impact the MoY discussion that much. The big talking point is always how much a team exceeds expectations, which makes it hard for the managers of teams with high expectations to win the award.

ERA over 6 in the first inning, that's not going to be effective for the Guards in their attempt to win the division and go far in the playoffs. SMH. Man, Camden Yards is a beer league softball stadium. Always has been. I'd say half the home runs in this game would've been doubles or outs in just about any other park, with the exception of Santander's pop up home run to right, which would've been a home run at Yankee Stadium, which is another joke.

Cookie had a good outing last time. You must hate him. It's common knowledge that Carasco is in the twilight of a great career. On some starts he is good for 6 innings, then comes the bullpen by design. Not nice to be negative to a player that is loved, cherished and inspires the clubhouse. He is a cancer survivor who was traded then wanted to resign with "his" team. Cookie is a value to our team as a starter or help in the bull pen.

Ben Lively is mostly consistant I would say. But for everything else, I fully agree with.
