John I love watching you fishing in the creeks but we need to get you heavier tackle if your fishing with Cole hoping I see you visiting Cole and Jay again.
Maybe you and Cole can get together next summer and come up to lake Erie for some smallmouth and or walleye action. I use to fish the big lake and loved it. Great action in the summer and the fall is great for yellow perch.

When the stripers run in the Spring, they're mating. Unlike most other fish in freshwater, these fish spawn on top of the water. You'll find them in fast moving water and they'll hit top water plugs. If fishing a dam, I'll use a weighted pencil popper. If fishing a natural stream, either an unmodified pencil popper or top dog are the ticket. I generally stick to green and yellow, gray and white, blue and white, or silver colored baits. The other thing to remember, stripers can be caught all year long. They just need water that is colder than 70°F...the colder the better. They start rapidly losing body weight in 70+°F waters.
You definitely wouldn't have to worry if yall was going to keep any of the fish they was not going bad great video yall was hammer the strippers the way yall was catching them should have help you stay warm
Are the Stripers juveniles that are in a holding pattern during their run to the ocean or do they stay put in their freshwater habitat? When you get to fish with other popular fishing CZcamsrs, do you swap out gear with them or stick to your own for whatever reason? I love the Creek Fishing CZcams. Very well put together!
