  • This is a basic guide on how to connect a MaxxOne DVR to a phone or iPad. I use an iPad for this demonstration, but the same method applies for apple and android phones and tablets.
    Please be aware that this method is for MaxxOne DVRs ONLY! Different DVRs have different methods of connecting themselves to apps. The MaxxOne app will only work on MaxxOne Products!

    I'm so happy to CZcams for all those who have taken their time to come here and give explanations about DVR connection to phone this has helped me so much as I'm in Swaziland in Africa where we don't have much of everything as u do in other countries so we import things from China and other countries and once we got them we get stuck with them because all u have is manual and the box that show u that the product can do this much but u don't understand the language of the product because u have no idea but u can see on the box what the product can do. CZcams has been so helpful to me as I have connected my DVR to my phone thanks again.

    Have you a video of how it connects? i have moved house and it has a system fitted but I have no idea how it works, I can get the 4 camera pictures on a moniter no problem, but there is an ethernet cable that goes to a TPLINK device? that is plugged in to a socket. should there be another one somewhere? maybe at the router?

    so have you tried using the tablet with a hdmi cable to see the cameras? so you do not have to use wifi so you have more realistic feed from the nvr. using wifi give to much lag in the feed.

    I set it up something ago and then suddenly it stopped working. I have done everything you suggested here, but it is still failing to connect to my device, at one point a warning came up stating parameters. Do you have any other suggestions?

      If its a MaxxOne DVR then give maxxone tech support a call. They will be able to help you. Just google Maxxone tech support.

    What if you don’t have a Ethernet cable?

    • @satsecure
      @satsecure  Před 6 lety +1

      You need an ethernet cable to connect most DVRs to a router (they aren't WiFi enabled, and it sends out a lot of data!). Most people use homeplugs / powerline adapters to connect the DVR to the router instead of running ethernet cable through the house (as long as your house is all on one ring main!)

    • @satsecure
      @satsecure  Před 6 lety

      The Maxxone DVRs in this video are compatible with all camera types, so if you needed a system that can talk to your phone you only need to replace the DVR, not the whole cctv system!
