I just rescued a standardbred ex Amish buggy horse from a kill pen. He’s absolutely lovely. This helps give me a place to start with him once I get a little weight on him. Thank you
Who needs cantering, lol. The pacing is very comfortable to ride to. This lovely horsie is doing well with his cantering cues under saddle, the poles really helped to keep him going. The trainer is very good!
Awesome video, educational and inspiring. I have a three yr old Standardbred, this video is very helpful and fun. You are a fit Lady and kind to your horses. Thank you for making this video ❤️👍😊

Thank you for this excellent video.
That horse has very great ground manners and great response to the rider by the way he keeps his ears back listening.

I am a 4H student in Texas. Could I have a consultation with you? I have a project horse that is Standardbred.
What would the solution be for a horse who has been vet checked but won't canter even after spooking? (Ex trotter)
Does he canter out in the paddock (field) when with other horses? Does he canter when loose in the arena?
I would like to see more of the horse.. not so much the person in the middle.
