In this video we take a look at some training best practices for training your dog to use a bed ramp to get onto and off the bed easily and safely. The DoggoRamp is a great small dog bed ramp for dogs up to 30lbs, and although pretty easy/intuitive for most, always a good idea to practices and do some training with your dog first on how to use the ramp. It will go a long way in the end, and is critical you get the dog used to using it steadily as opposed to forcing them to use it, or having them use it WITHOUT any practice and get scared, as that will make it more difficult for them to continue using it in the future.

My beautiful little dachshund uses her ramp so well. But gets so excited sometimes she doesn't use it to get down. I feel like such a failure for not making sure she always used it to get down. Now she's paralyzed. I wish Id bought this ramp sooner. Maybe it would have made a difference. Thank you so much for this amazing product. Really changed my dogs life for the better.

Crusoe goes up and down multiple times in the night and never been a problem. They learn where the ramp is pretty quickly.

For sure, any small breed under 20lbs or so.
I think I've permanently ruined my dogs chances of using our doggo ramp. I picked her up and put her on it. And now she's really afraid. So right now I'm giving her treats just for putting one foot on...
Well, koodos for recognizing your mistake and now being patient and taking proper approach. What you're doing is right now. Dog training is all about rewarding the dog for their decisions, that's how they learn. If we force them to do something, they don't learn it.
