I got to be honest, They need to change the rule. You should NOT be allowed to cross the foot foul line. What's the point of boards being exactly 27 feet away if you can just leave the tip of your foot in the box while you LEAP toward the target as you release ?
This is a little late, but the player has to throw the bag without crossing the line, which in her case the bag is thrown and then she crosses it. As long as she throws it before she crosses the line she in perfectly fine.
The red line is in play. If she would have gone past the red line rest assured it would have been called. Just wondering did you miss the part about this being the pros.
Better to throw sticky, miss, and have it stay on the board. Dry conditions inside most likely, which means slick side will play a bit faster than normal.
