The SR500 was the bike of my 20s in the 1980s. It mastered long trips up to the Pyrenees and Sweden but also the daily ride to work in Northern Germany without any problems. Unfortunately, it was stolen from me in the 1990s...
Mine was not as nice as yours and always dirty because I rode a lot of dirt roads ... ;)
You must have enjoyed riding it. That's a good sign of an enthusiast.
