I think Luke realized as he was comparing Khabib and Charles that his reason was dumb. Losses don’t matter, Khabib’s early record is padded with cans in minor promotions. Charles was fighting the best as a very young man. I’m not saying Charles has surpassed Khabib yet but it’s not like it’s out of the question that Charles will ultimately surpass him. He has the most finishes and bonuses, as soon as he gets more wins and wins the belt again, it won’t be long. ESPECIALLY if he beats Islam. I think that’s icing on the cake.
a lose is a lose since khabib proved himself in the ufc and never lost there and kept dominating even more than he was doing when he was fighting these "cans" shows that he's that good and even if he faced these "the best" at a very young age he will win against them and even if he lost he won't lose 8 times, charles at that time had a mental problem in most of his fights he was losing because of his weak mindset and we all know how tough khabib's mindset is. the man was wrestling a bear when he was at 6, that tells you everything.

Charles will prove that he’s the best lightweight of all time in the next few years, you’ll see.

Looks in shape. Luke Rockhold is no joke. He has fought some of the best guys. He's got submissions and he's done alright. His fight IQ needs to step up a bit and his patience but he's unique. I think he comes from a family of athletes. I know he surfed and skated so that explains his west coast vibe, its an adrenaline thing. Good athlete. always liked his style
