I didn't like the way I looked, my boring personality, etc. Anyways, I started dating in early October, took a few dates with different women to finally find someone that was equally as attracted to me as I was to them, but you have to realize personality is everything to who you're dating. Not every personality clicks with one another. I'm a pretty shy and quiet guy, but I just found talking to my current gf so natural. I was still a nervous wreck 😂 but she found that adorable. Point is, you just have to put yourself out there and you'll definitely find someone that loves you for you. Just be kind and you'll have no problem at all!

Hey, you're right. I... Hope I'm back on track with this new relationship, but... Yeah, so far so good! We both know we still have baggage from our individual prior relationships, but we are giving each other the chance we thought just earlier this year was impossible... I feally needed to hear this st this point in time. I relate deeply with this
And now I'm desensitized from the amount of different pains I've felt throughout my life. Pain that I shouldn't have been through at such a young age. At the end though the pain was worth feeling. It created a better me because in the end I chose to let the bad times strengthin me rather than let it destroy me. I choose to make all the depression n' pain into knowledgeable wisdom so that I can be better prepared for the future and help others that may be going through the same pain or at least help them learn to possibly prevent them from ever going through the same pain.
It's been years of being used repeatedly, and cheated on. Finally after a good 3-4 years single just spending time to myself and contemplating my feelings, I've started to feel like me again. A close friend and I, of which I've know since 7th grade, have recently hit it off and I don't feel myself questioning every last thing, I've found the value in myself as well as trust in my partner and I love it.
As a wise man once said, "The man who know the greatest sorrow, knows the highest happiness." Or something like that lol

Had all these with my ex, we were together for 7 years. But she had to move and our time zones has a 6 hour difference. 2 months after we broke up she started dating someone else. Almost 2 years later, even if I try dating other people, it never reached the level of connection me and her had. Although the fact that she seemingly got over our breakup pretty fast makes me wonder, was it all just in my head? Was all these years just me living a fantasy? I just don’t know anymore. Starting to feel like I’ll never find that level of connection with someone again, we technically grew up together and you can’t really do that a second time in life...

@@agoniavr it’s possible what you’re saying is true cuz a few months after that I tried messaging her to try to maintain some sort of friendship at least but seems like said person she started dating didn’t like that (and rightfully so cuz I wasn’t gonna give up that easily lmao). Anyways, when we started taking again we instantly clicked just like that. But she’s a good person, and had to tell her current bf that we were speaking. He didn’t like it and she she was hesitant to unfriend me from our main source of messaging before actually doing it. Funny enough she kept me on everything else though and we never spoke since so I’ve no idea what that’s supposed to mean and I don’t want to hope for anything either to get disappointed in the end.

These videos confuse me so much sometimes. Not because they’re wrong in any way, they’re obviously incredibly well-made and offer great insights into life.
The issue is I have a hard time believing in love because all of these “signs” happened in my previous relationship, yet it still ended. I’ve gotten over it, of course, but I’ve been left this entire time with no closure and no real reason why she ended things. Things seemed really great and healthy, we had great communication, trust, mutual respect.
There are many times when I wish the relationship was unhealthy or a major red flag ended it, because then I’d be sure it wasn’t what I was looking for. It just feels incredibly unfair, like the universe simply decided I didn’t deserve it.
Hi there, love can be confusing. The tricky part is if they legitimately feel the same way for you. If they don't, it's better that they leave rather than go through years of being unhappy. Her leaving just means you and her weren't meant to be. It hurts at first, you will need time to heal. Keep you head up mate.
Hey..i was looking for a comment like this because im literally in the same situation like you. Ive had a breakup last month. In our relationship everything seemed nice and also all points in this video did allign. But the difference to you is, i was the one that broke up.
It was basically because he had some very clingy and controlling behaviours. He always needed more time with me than I did with him. It caused a few discussions. And I started to lose feelings too which made me sad. Besides that everything was very perfect yeah, but it can be very small things that turn into a big no and its hard to realize it.
I still am struggling like you are, just because I broke up doesn't mean i'm clear about my decision. The last few days felt like I did a mistake. Also watching these Videos always make me overthink. But in general i feel relieved and i take this as a sign.
So all I'm trying to say is you are not alone, things are continuing even if it feels weird and you're lost and it can be hard to figure out what went wrong, but i guess time and clear mind will give you good opportunity to heal and clarify everything for you and in the end you will grow onto this experience. The only thing is find people to talk to cause those thoughts can be very overwhelming. At least talking to others is what helps me rn.

Personally, this was my first relationship, and it’s obvious that I made mistakes or exhibited behaviors that ideally wouldn’t want to exhibit.
That being said, I have a question for you. If the person you broke up with for those reasons reached out, and told you they would change and that they know this clinginess was wrong, would you give them another chance to prove it?
Apologies if this question brings up some unwanted feelings. Feel free to leave it unanswered if it’s too difficult to think about at this moment.

I did talk to him about this and he was very keen to change and make everything he could to do it better.
So I don't say that there's nothing that can be changed. But i knew this specific thing is a part of his personality which he couldn't change. And also i didn't want him to change for me at all. In the end we both would have suffered because I was upset and he tried to do something he couldn't do.
That's also the thing why I do regret my decision from time to time because I think maybe I could've tried one more time. But I guess we always would've reached the point of disappointment and I wanted to avoid that.
I don't know if it helps you, also your relationship could have had different problems than I mentioned here. But still it feels relieving not to be alone.
Same boat. Except I was told there was nothing I could have done better or differently. Nothing was wrong. They had a life tragedy but I was told that only prompted the choice, it wasn’t the cause. Just…..they didn’t fully fall in love even though they thought they had. I don’t know if I’ll ever really have closure…..I feel the words should be enough but when it came about all of a sudden, and was a total 180 from even the day before…..I just don’t know. 😞
i think that overall relationships dont have a destined shape, sure we have ideas and preferences thats normal but the true meaning of a relationship is clarity that both people in the relationship are truthfully happy with one another thats what the "perfect relationship" looks like
Once I had a friend who I really liked, and then I found out she was actually a toxic person. She was super immature and judgmental, and I only found that out from my observations and people talking about her. Right before Christmas break (this was 6th grade!!), I told her I no longer wanted to be friends, which was in the form of a note because I was too scared to tell her, and I'm still upset about what she said. "It's okay, I didn't want to embarrass you anyways." It was the snarkiest and passive-aggressive thing I ever heard in my life, and I completely held a grudge against her. Two years later, at the start of 8th grade, we talked again, always a little at a time. The air was pretty uncomfortable whenever we would conversation, usually a few words form each side. Finally we talked more and more, and officially became friends again. She matured a lot and realized her mistakes and tried to act cool and would be really judgmental just to boost her own self-esteem. I guess I can't really blame her since I was like that too when I was younger. Now we talk all the time when we have the chance to, say goodbye when we head out of school, joke around a ton, and give eachother advice. I'm super grateful for her as a friend and she's helped me out a lot with talking to others, since I have a bit of awkwardness paired up with social anxiety. After a while I've started to realize I've developed 'feelings' for her, but she likes someone else, although I'm not too sure if she likes me too. All of the things on this list describe our relationship, and I really hope that our friendship can continue to grow bigger as time goes on. I'm glad I gave her a second chance, because then I'd never have a friend in school outside of my one friend who's a grade lower than me (WHOS SUPER AMAZING TOO BTW). I think she has an idea that I like her but for now we're friends and I'm glad it's that way, I wouldn't wish for anything else. Our relationship is so much better than I'd ever expect and I'm glad to have an awesome friend.

I think me and my partner are "meant to be" like the video says. We don't live together yet, but we work together on all kinds of things, like school projects and we give each other advice when it's needed. We have the same kind of humor, and can make fun of each other (jokes, obviously) without the other getting mad, and can tell each other when we do. We're always thinking of each other, and text and call during our free time, but still let each other have alone time if we ask. We can still be our own person and do things outside of the relationship. He stays the night with his friend weekly and doesn't usually text me, and I don't mind. We're also both gamers, so we call while playing games, or give a time when we'll be done to talk then. Also, (tmi) I don't shave during winter (bio female) and he doesn't mind that. We understand each other's opinions and even if we disagree, don't fight over it. Although we have been arguing a bit recently, we figured out the cause and talked it out. It has been nothing but smooth from then.
I think we're meant to be, and I'm going to propose to him on our anniversary in 2022 :)

Don't take any of this as any kind of solid advice. This is just me speaking my personal thoughts out ( which may not be the best to begin with, but I'm gonna try anyway ):
Have you spoken to said partner as to why they might be saying that stuff? Why they might be thinking like that? Maybe they might feel insecure or something might have happened to them in the past - or in general - that's caused them to feel that way. I don't know how old you are, but they do say that young love is fickle - that's just me quoting what I've heard and not directing that at anyone.
I think you should communicate with your partner about this and try find out reasons for them saying/thinking that way and move on from there, and making known your feelings about the matter and that you feel like they'd be a "meant to be" sort of partner.
TL;DR: Communication is key. Talk the matter over and find out their reasons for saying such things.

It could be a number of different factors pertaining to fears, culture, or values. If you feel that strongly about the person, then communicate and find the reason from your parent. You might be underage, have a noticeable age gap, it could be lustful/young emotions instead of love.... or your parent might just be overprotective, jealous, distrustful, etc.... it's important to find out their reasoning and how flexible + supportive they are, as you deserve to make your own choices, mistakes, and not have your growth impeded.
