The village of Borodianka, located in the Kyiv region, became one of the terrifying places of the Russian-Ukrainian war. Iryna Venediktova, Ukrainian Prosecutor General, called the situation regarding the massacres in Borodianka "the worst".
This video only demonstrates a part of these consequences: the Ukrainian party is still exhuming the bodies of killed civilians to establish their number. Also, thanks to this, relatives recognise the bodies of their loved ones.
In the Bucha district of the Kyiv region alone, law enforcement officers recorded 1,045 dead civilians.
Borodianka was liberated from Russian troops in early April. It was under occupation for 35 days. All this time, the village suffered from shelling.
