- In this episode of The Lateral Line, the boys launched their dinghy off a beach and ventured into big fish country. Before long, they had enough fish in the chilly bin to satisfy any lunchtime hunger pangs, and Milan set his sights on a big Kingy hunt!
After catching a live bait from a large school of Kahawai, the boys were fishing for the big ones once more. It wasn't long before Milan was locked in battle with a tank of a Kingfish while simultaneously steering the Suzuki away from the rocks. Will he land it?

Another bloody awesome video guys. Im heading out to the Auckland boat show on Saturday and want to buy a snapper fishing combo, can i please ask what gear are you guys using for snapper on this video?. Thanks and keep safe out there on the ocean, Chur Chur.
Chur chur for the comment 😎 the main spin reel combo we use for snapper is the Daiwa certate on a commander rod. But, I think the best thing to do is to pick/set a budget (what your happy to spend) and there will be a Daiwa combo close to that price point 😎 happy shopping 😁 if you were going on Friday I’d help you chose a daiwa combo as we are on the daiwa stand tomorrow 😁

Prefer when both fishing. Seems Milan does all the fishing cooking cleaning driving coffee making and everything else.Nathan does talking and the camera, not even helping the bro out.. Hmmmm
If it wasn’t filmed then there is no driving, cooking, fishing, coffee making or anything else and the Lateral Line does not exist?
So, Milan goes fishing and does what he loves to do and I do my best to film it, narrate it and try to add context/story to it so Milan doesn’t have to put any thought into talking and he can just focuss on fishing and then I edit/produce it and load it to CZcams.
If we both fish it would be a lot more fun and I do put the phone down and catch a few fish here and there but if we did that all the time, again no filming = no lateral line.
People forget the editing side. The hours that go in to that would be ridiculous!
