I wonder if Abbi’s iconic blue dress got upgraded in later episodes. I felt like the fabric had a bad shape to it at first, like the fabric couldn’t lie flat, but in the second season, the dress is a lot better quality. I think it also fit better in later episodes as well.

Broad City gave me so much. I was the Ilana to my BF's Abbi. The show brought me a feeling of familiarity and so much humor. You immediately feel like you know those girls, like everybody has a friend like one or the other. The show is very much like what a single gal experience would really be in NYC as opposed to the glamorous Sex and the City narrative. SATC is like rich upper class women with fancy lives and Broad City is far more realistic two broke girls just trying to live their best lives navigating growing up as adults in NYC. It's like what it would be if Sex and the City and Dumb and Dumber had a baby (no shade) and I am here for it 100% all day every day! I actually love the fact that they mix up items from other outfits. A gal on a budget wouldn't be able to have a wardrobe where nothing gets worn more than once. They're very real.
Though I am not from Philly, I am from Pennsylvania and, when I moved from Pennsylvania, I was shocked others didn't say "hoagie." 😊 I have since learned hoagies have many names...
