As soon as Jack was "born" I said, that looks like Cas's son, not Lucifer's. And now that I've seen pictures of them at different ages, the resemblance is uncanny!!
Headcanon: Before Jack was born he chose Cas as his father so I believe either conciously or unconciously hr took on an appearence that looked more like Cas then Lucifer.
@jennix8666 that is the smartest and most logical theory I've ever heard. But it's still fun seeing them play it off as Misha being Alex's biological father even though based on age Misha would have been 16 at the time.
I thought they cast Jack to look like Cas because Cas was protecting Jack's Mom when she was pregnant and she wanted the baby to have Cas's qualities. In the Supernatural world the baby bonded with Cas. Really Lucifer really isn't Nick so Jack wouldn't look like him as he had no contact with Nick before Jack was born.
Ikr...I just assumed it was a interesting plot twist

It's brilliant casting is what it is. Just like the kid who played young Sam around season 4-5 was a dead ringer for Jared
So much so, that when Jared played Walker, they hired the same kid as a young version of him
Alex is the perfect Jack. If you walked up to a random person and said he was the son of Lucifer, they would agree. If you said he was the son of Kelly, they would agree. If you said he was the son of Castiel, they would agree.

Well, on the show...Cass touched the baby "Jack" and he connected with Cass on both a spiritual and cellular level. Taking the DNA of Cass's host. That's why they look alike.

I remember getting out of Supernatural for a while, and I saw a clip of season 13 with Alex playing Jack. I had no context to it. So i watched that clip and I got upset because i was like "...he looks exactly like Cas. is that Cas's son? does Cas have a wife?" and my dumb ass didn't wanna watch any more because it meant that Destiel couldn't become canon anymore. Any way, glad I got over that, and now the father-son relationship between Jack and Cas means more to me than any form of Destiel ever could.
I came here to find out if they were related as they look so much alike. Casting can be spot on after all.
I wouldn't be surpried if they have a common ancestor somewhere in their family tree, but no definitely not father & Son
