Thanks for all the love and support. I am blown away by the love from ya'll. I know these are hard times but with love and faith we shall all see the light again 🥰❤️❤️. Love you 🤗.
Dammit, how time goes by! I was 16 when this came out and saw every show JPP did up and down the West Coast. Best late Spring/Summer ever. Traveling with my bestie and seeing Joe play live. Amazing shows, amazing time. Hearing this today...wow. Great stuff. One of the best guitarists ever. 🎸
Joe has a warehouse full of killer guitars.. I've been in music stores when Joe's guy would come in and point to what he wanted and they'd pull them off the wall and send them to Joe
Hello 👋 Dear. How are you doing? Hope you are fine, I'm Mark Clifford and am from Denver Colorado. Where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
Thanks for all the love and support. I am blown away by the love from ya'll. I know these are hard times but with love and faith we shall all see the light again 🥰❤️❤️. Love you 🤗.
@Steven Tyler I’m there I love the 70’s 80’s Rock I had been listening to you since I was 15yr’s old now I’m 62’s old and love love it you guys rock❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🎸🎸🎸
Joe's famous Tele-Rat. saw him on the back in the saddle tour using this guitar. So glad this video is hanging around. Joe looks similar to what he did in the early 70's with the headband and shit. amazing fucken solo in this song, just oozing with blues.
Yuo! This defines Down and Dirty. So simple. So pissa. Dammit we were the luckiest kids in Human History growing up. We'll be really realizing it real f#cking soon! 🇺🇸👍🏼🎸
If this clip ISN'T the laying down of the actual studio (or in this case, Boston Opera House) track, then it has to be the greatest miming/lipsync performance in music history!
Went to a million shows in this era. Met a dude Kenny from North Babylon back then. Specifically at these JPP shows....NCC, Calderone in Hempstead and the North Stage in Glen Cove...(a moment of silence ) Wonder if he's tuning in all these years later? How wonderful would it, could it be to meet folks you met at shows, and have dinner and drinks and reminisce about that era? Cheers to all I met in that era🍷
All I can say. Is I got to see this in person. My cousins uncle was the drummer, Ronnie Stewart. Still awesome music 🤘🤘 thank you Joe for this. My favorite song from the project besides this is, arrogance
Thanks for all the love and support. I am blown away by the love from ya'll. I know these are hard times but with love and faith we shall all see the light again 🥰❤️❤️. Love you 🤗.
I had Joe Perry buy me a beer in the 80's, me and a friend went to see the Joe Perry Project in Poughkeepsie NY, and the Fire Marshall had deemed a certain # allowed in the venue, and we got turned away; we got there for the next show (about 6 months later, and when we went to get tickets, they weren't"t opened yet, but we pounded on the doors, and they let us In(just to buy tickets) and Joe and his drummer were in there, and when they heard iyr story, they bought us a beer; Ol'Joe is the coolest ever, for sure!
Před 6 lety+6
Fantastic album... so many thanks for that to you and the band!
Not heard this for years. Had all three Joe Perry Project albums in the mid 80s when I discovered Aerosmith, here in London. Hardly anyone knew who they were over here at that time. Joe Perry influenced my playing big time back then, and his look.
Thanks for all the love and support. I am blown away by the love from ya'll. I know these are hard times but with love and faith we shall all see the light again 🥰❤️❤️. Love you 🤗.
Totally agree. Especially where my cousin's uncle is Ronnie on the drums. My first concert i was 8 and they opened up for ZZ TOP at the worcester Centrum.
Thanks for all the love and support. I am blown away by the love from ya'll. I know these are hard times but with love and faith we shall all see the light again 🥰❤️❤️. Love you 🤗.
Awesome as iv'e never seen this video and that song looks like it would be a shit load of fun to play. Right on Ronnie Stewart as i knew he was a good drummer but that was way cool. Great album..
Had not seen this video before. I was backstage with the JPP during this time and remember telling drummer Ron Stewart about the cool stick tricks done by Alice Coopers Neal Smith - that’s when Ron started doing this stick shaking at shows.
I figured he got it from Carmine Appice! He certainly got the two "blonde bombshell" Ludwig drum idea from Carmine! When Bonzo got a hold of those, they sounded like BOMBS going off!
Mauricio Correia I remember when Ralph Morman was the first JPP singer. He was great, a very unique voice. I always wondered why he was out of the band. I had seen a post that Joe owed Ralph a lot of money and infighting began
3 Albums, 3 Years, 3 Singers. Joe was the one with the problem. That being said, I loved the JPP. Wished he never went back to Aerosmith for there watered down stage. Of course if he kept on with the JPP, he might be looking for his 37th lead singer by now...
Headstones2013 The problem with Ralph was he was a drunk that couldn't make it to the shows and be a professional. The "problem" with Charlie was there was not enough money to go around. The problem with Mach Bell, was Mach Bell and the shows were getting smaller and smaller. Of course Joe's substance abuse was an issue as well, but David Hull stuck it out and still plays with Joe, so it's not like Joe is a giant asshole or something.
The always amazing fantastically talented mr Charlie Farren .. Mr Joe Fuckin perry and the best bassist around David Hull wish jpp would do the cape cod melody tent hint hint
When Joe brings out the lefty strat with the reverse tele neck, you know shit's about to go down!
Haaa! Very good. Ya sensed "what's coming up here is No Joke!" Haa !
They don't call him Joe Fucking Perry for nothing, brother!
I saw JPP at an amusement park in NJ in 1980 or 81. I remember thinking that his solo stuff was pretty damn good, and the concert was great.
Him & Charlie Farrin were the greatest JPP RULED
At the Trenton Fairgrounds/ racetrack? I was there, still have the photos and negatives from the show.
F'n wow... just imagine if music could be this cool again.
Dude what about Justin Bieber he is the best;)
It's not that hard to like explore music. Buy an issue of classic rock magazine they review hundreds of new rock and roll albums each month ...fm radio is too safe to play any lol new music.
Always supported Joe after he split Aerosmith and his Project was kick ass.most of the time
Still is
I was lucky enough to see them perform this live when I was a teenager. One of the loudest shows at the time. Great show!👍
Especially if the drummer was playing those dual Ludwig drums!
Yeah, they were VERY loud back in the day. I remember one show with Brad Whitford at Nantasket Beach in Mass. My ears rang for a few days!
Saw the JPP at a real small rock bar in Bradenton Florida was a once in a lifetime experience for sure 81 I think
Thanks for all the love and support. I am blown away by the love from ya'll. I know these are hard times but with love and faith we shall all see the light again 🥰❤️❤️. Love you 🤗.
dedicated fans like you are the reason I've attained such greatness, you are highly appreciated.
Bought this cassette after seeing the multi page ad in circus magazine , still one of my favs
joe rocks out and is one bad ass guitar player!
I bought this when it first was released and I'm still hooked on this album
Same here, I bought it on cassette. Great driven rock, Joe Perry's best!
Killer tune. Extremely underrated
I bought Joe's book while Christmas shopping !!! I still have the Perry Project's on vinyl.
Many many lifetimes from now when someone asks what was rock n roll all they will have to do is watch and listen to this.
Cool, Joe's playing a left hand Strat w/ a Tele neck
It was knicknamed the "Telerat"! Ha.
been about 20yrs since I last heard this
now I got the rocknrolls again
And I 30 years back
The drummer is fantastic
Playing an upside down Strat with a Travis Bean leaning against his half stack as a backup. Joe had the *coolest* shit
Joe has a warehouse full of killer guitars..
I've been in music stores when Joe's guy would come in and point to what he wanted and they'd pull them off the wall and send them to Joe
This one is just pure gold.
joe Perry knows how to rock😍♥️
yeah baby, he does 😎❤️
Joe Perry is the embodiment of Blues AND RnR. (IMO) Always liked his solo stuff.
Wish this lineup would have stuck it out ! Joe Perry & Charlie Farren Awesome !
Banger start to finish! Played this album in my car on cassette in college all of the time, windows down!

Ritchie Blackmore? David Gilmour? Jeff Beck? Erick Johnson? Malmsteen?
This band- Joe Perry = Farrenheit.
Killer band in their own right
Joe Perry Rocks
Charlie Farren - best singer / performer Boston had during the 80's.
Yes, completely!!Charlie Farren is also a great songwriter. Love his style, thought he was a perfect fit for J.Perry Project.
Yup. To me he "out cooled" the whole gambit , friggin' Globally!
Great talent, great guy.
He wrote or co-wrote pretty much every song on that JPP album, too.
He had a real Sammy Hagar vibe about him---which I dig!
I just love this!
Awesome I wish they would bring this kind of Rock back🎸
Aerosmith Rocks..in the 70’s now 2021 still sounds awesome 🎸 love you all ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Rock on and have fun..

This is great rock'n'roll from that "sleazy style" during that era! Love it!
Yup, dripped of sleaze!. It was fun wasn't it? Haa!👍🏼🇺🇸🎸
Best JPP lineup...
Totally agree. Especially where my cousin's uncle is Ronnie on the drums. My first concert i was 8 and they opened up for ZZ TOP at the worcester Centrum.
Saw JPP at Cardies in Houston in 81. Was right up front. My ears rang for days.
❤🎉I love you joe perry🎉
My Hero Joe perry
You ain't alone my friend. He could put 'Hero" as his "Occupation " and the IRS would have to legally accept it!👍🏼🇺🇸🎸
There is just so much to like about this ! Awesome stuff ! 👏
That first chord brings back good times and memories no worries
Charlie Fahren ! JPP BEST SINGER!
Charlie was JPPs best singer. Did alright with his own band, Fahrenheit too!
Joe is so beautiful. We know talented but let's take in that face
Hello 👋 Angie. How are you doing? Hope you are fine
joe is so good looking 😍
Wow Joe Perry magnífico. Demais
When your back is against the wall you can always revert to the blues. Just don’t expect to sell any records.
I saw the Joe Perry Project at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park New Jersey. F...in LOUD!
Sounds damn good to me. Keep on rockin Joe!!

Como me encanta este tema tan chimba, de mis favoritos del rock.
Charlie Farren rocks.

Rafael castañeda
super nice guy too...met him at Joe's solo show at Harper's Ferry in 2005
Yup Charlie is The Balls. Nicest guy you'd wanna meet too. A Great American. In his book 'Rocks' Joe , honorably, notes him as a "Worldclass" talent.
I thought it was Ralph Morman

To me Charlie Farren was the finest singer for the J.P.P.
Actually, I don´t know if we have other J.P.P then that on the vídeo... otherwise we will have questions why Joe goes to Aerosmith...
Mauricio Correia I remember when Ralph Morman was the first JPP singer. He was great, a very unique voice. I always wondered why he was out of the band. I had seen a post that Joe owed Ralph a lot of money and infighting began
Ralph was a vicious alcoholic.
