- I’ve been making these for years and could slap myself for taking so long in reinventing a quicker and easier method of constructions. Honestly the time spent wiring each flower and leaves takes forever, but with my new version, once all materials are gathered it take less than 10 minutes.
You will need:
- 2 long pieces of 20-gauge florist wire
- Brown floral tape - called Parafilm + come in white & green
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks. If you are doing loads of gluing buy a hot glue pan. So much quicker than mucking around with the glue gun.
- Ribbon for securing around the head
- A selection of gum leaves or camellia or rose leaves
- A selection of small flowers in a combination and choice desired.

LOVE this idea! I think you should wear these!!! Especially to parties! People would love it 💐 I could see a mini one around a ponytail, haha! I might have to make one for that purpose 😁
Oh, I love this! Thank you, Astar! It looks beautiful on you! I'm looking forward to you doing the wristlet bracelet. Take care!

How absolutely lovely! Thank you for sharing! 💐
*Thank you for sharing this with us, Astar❣️ I sure wish I knew this simple technique when I was making flower crowns 👑 years ago and using floral tape to individually add 1 flower or piece of greenery at a time, overlapping them‼️🤯🙉😳 Yes, this is so much easier, with a more beautiful 🌺🌿🌼🌿🌸 result AND MUCH LESS WEIGHT, TOO.💚💜💛🌿❤🍃 KUDOS‼️👏👏👏 💐💜🍃*
Hi Leslie,
I am so pleased you like the new improved approach to head garlands. Tbh I am hard pressed to understand why it took me this long to simplify the method. Like you I kept doing what I was trained to do and must admit they are time consuming. With everything being wired and 'mossed' sealed and taped they were left to last. I had 4 to make last wedding season and I did not have time to be fiddling around and just like that - problem solved. They are so light to wear, fit like a glove and the best news, beyond super easy to put together. I demonstrated using silks but can testify that even with fresh they are magical to construct. Kind regards, Astar

Hi Jackie, it works a treat for wrist florals as well. That's how I've always done mine. It gives a neat finish & they are easy to wear. Warm regards Astar
