Canton of Bern
The canton of Bern or Berne is one of the 26 cantons forming the Swiss Confederation. It is composed of ten districts and its capital city is Bern. The bear is the heraldic symbol of the canton, displayed on a red-yellow background. Bern is the second-largest canton by both surface area and population. Located in west-central Switzerland, it is surrounded by eleven cantons.
Thun
Thun is a town and a municipality in the administrative district of Thun in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. It is located where the Aare flows out of Lake Thun (Thunersee), 30 kilometres (19 miles) southeast of Bern. As of December 2018 the municipality has almost about 45,000 inhabitants and around 80,000 live in the agglomeration. Besides tourism, machine and precision instrument engineering, the largest garrison in the country, the food industry, armaments and publishing are of economic importance to Thun. The official language of Thun is (the Swiss variety of Standard) German, but the main spoken language is the local variant of the Alemannic Swiss German dialect.
Hilterfingen
Hilterfingen is a municipality in the Thun administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. The villages on the right bank of Lake Thun, to which Hilterfingen and Hünibach belong, are often referred to as the Gold Coast or the Riviera of Lake Thun because of their attractive location.
Lake Thun
Thunersee is an Alpine lake in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland named after the city of Thun, on its northern shore. At 48.3 km2 (18.6 sq mi) in surface area, it is the largest Swiss lake entirely within a single canton. The lake was created after the last glacial period. After the 10th century, it split from Lake Brienz, before which the two lakes were combined, as Wendelsee ("Lake Wendel"). The culminating point of the lake's drainage basin is the Finsteraarhorn at 4,274 metres (14,022 ft) above sea level.
Oberhofen
Oberhofen am Thunersee is a municipality in the administrative district of Thun in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.
Merligen
It is a town in the canton of Bern in Switzerland with 888 inhabitants. It belongs to the municipality of Sigriswil. The village in the Bernese Oberland lies at an altitude of 568 meters on the banks of Lake Thun on an alluvial cone, right at the exit of the Justistal valley.
St. Beatus-Höhlen
The St. Beatus Caves are a group of stalactite caves below Beatenberg near Interlaken in the canton of Bern. The cave system is located on the northern edge of Lake Thun. It is accessible with a guided tour around 1 km into the interior of the Niederhorn massif. According to legend, St. Beatus died here. Part of the Camino de Santiago runs below the caves.
Interlaken
It is a Swiss town and municipality in the Interlaken-Oberhasli administrative district in the canton of Bern. It is an important and well-known tourist destination in the Bernese Oberland region of the Swiss Alps, and the main transport gateway to the mountains and lakes of that region. Interlaken is the central town of a Small Agglomeration with the same name of 23,300 inhabitants. The official language of Interlaken is Swiss Standard German, but the main spoken language is the local variant of the Alemannic German Swiss German dialect.

Yaaay i saw the Swan swimming, So beautiful.. Another great road trip video and i like how you give the info of where you are as it helps, Specially St beatus caves, so i stopped the video and looked on google maps to find out where it is and its not far from Interlaken and the thrill walk, the caves look amazing..

Hi, I aprreciate a lot that you took the secondary road north of tha lake (road 221) instead of the motorway via Spiez, to get from Thun to Interlaken. As I was in a hurry when I drove there last year, I took the A6+A8, so it was very interesting for me to see how the views from the other part of the lake are. Greetings from a fellow creator from Germany!
