10 years back when I didn’t get through JEE, I was quite depressed because like everybody I also dreamt of big salaries. Not such much info was available during those times. Anyhow, studied in some pvt university and still bagged a salary equivalent to an IITian. After working some more years in the industry, I could confidently say there are many ways to earn a high salary even if one is not from IIT. Go to IIT for education, research and develop good skills. Brand name also helps quite a bit but whether its IIT or any other university, one can still shine. Just need to dream big and work towards it. Kalpit is right on point !

Let me tell u all 👀 usa me growth bahut zada h. U meet alot new people and you make alot of connections. These are veryyy benefitial. And every 2 years you get promoted. Salaries increase from 150k to 250k to 400k and so on. How I know this my brother is earning abt 310k in google cali. Though let me tell you he is L5 engineer, taxes are 30 percent on H1B visa and cost of living is high but he is saving alot alot alot. Study hard IIT'S are best you can get in India

The average salary may be relatively higher in IIT than in other colleges...But, not by a large margin...And, the effort required is exponentially higher...Not worth it imo...If you are really in it for the knowledge, join IISC instead

I have heard lots of people saying that 150k usd is less and other such stuff my sister works in us and has many friends who earn this much and it is honestly a lot if you tell anyone in us that you earn 150k they will think you are really rich , six figure income , you could afford mustangs, corvettes and other sports cars around this range in this salary. Mean family income in US is around 40-50k usd so compare that to 150k.

In USA living cost is $1000- 1,500 for rent of room and other expenses like travel ,food , and water bill and electrical bill these are also you need to consider .
Bhailog he is very mature nd taleted...he knows a lot more about practicality of life(in addition to the quality of living standards). However IITIANS,NIITIANS,IIITIANS should go for enforging deep interests over research fields which is quite difficult for so in a country like INDIA😅😃🤐. So support him to augment the circumstances.....

Agar iitan earn nhi krte to kota me jo coachings hai wo 1.5 lakh rs nhi lete sirf companies hi nhi kota ki coachings bhi high income deti hai based on experience and knowledge amounting to 20 lakhs to 1 crore

Na hi toh ias officers ko achhi salary milti hai na hi IITians ko..... Apni zindagi k 17 - 18 sal laga kar yani 24 - 25 % zindagi khatm karkar jo sikhte hain hmm usse hame zyada benefit nahi hota!!!
