yeah i kinda dig this kinda stuff over and the overly produced beats a lot of people are using nowadays.. with all kinda synthesizers and shit lol... barely any of that stuff has that "classic" feel to it.. sometimes all you need is a good sample and drum loop.
Why when some hype shit comes out heads are like "This sounds like some 90s shit"? Why can't it just be sic, classic or just plain good music. The 90s was a time that Hip-Hop culture grew up. Heads growing up in the 80s matured, and so did their skills. Heads learned the formula on how to be a good M.C. Producers learned how to use there machines better (figuring out the secrets). So really if your making quality Hip-Hop not much will change but topics and ways to chop samples.
