It's nice to finally have a champion capable of smiling.
Congratulations davey on becoming a new jeopardy champion
So the Lone Ranger's faithful companion was actually, "Fool?" Yikes!
I'm reminded of a Far Side cartoon in which the Lone Ranger is looking through an Indian dictionary and discovers that "Kemosabe" means "horse's ass."
Thus the mention of the TV character being problematic. However, Jay Silverheels once said that similar-sounding words in different Native American languages could have very different meanings, and that he had no problem with his character's name.
Yep. Spanish for "stupid," "fool," or "dummy." It can function both as a noun and as an adjective.
@@theemmjay5130 Some say the "kemosabe" is really Spanish "quien no sabe", "(he) who does not know".
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂@@theemmjay5130
Absolute shot in the dark wins it, you don’t see that very often
That's how I answered and got it. Wasn't confident at all.
I know, right? Awesome guess!
Having driven completely across Arizona about six different times finally paid off with a correct Final answer!
I've been getting so many Final Jeopardy lately! It's fun!
I thought when Ken said "Tonto National Forest, that is correct" I thought he was being sarcastic.
I've never even heard of it. It seems like the last few final Jeopardy's I've been obscure as heck.
Same here. I thought it was Yosemite National Park and the problematic TV character was Yosemite Sam.
Sam had guns a blazing both hands shooting at the cactus! Tonto being called an issue seems like a non problem.... every person laughs & calls their bestie stupid or foolish at times
@@sureshmukhi2316. That was a good guess.
@@sureshmukhi2316The clue said National Forest, which are distinct from National Parks. (I didn’t come up with the correct response, either.)
@@jmason61The name “Tonto” is problematic for… other reasons…
Being an Arizona native has really paid off with two Final Jeopardy's in a row! (Tonto National Forest is in the middle of Arizona.)
Thanks. I was going to look up where Tonto forest is. As an East coaster, my mental image of Arizona is cacti and sand. I should look at some pictures, I think.
@@judithmoore7892 please do, there's a lot more to AZ than that.
Love the vibes
Season 40 was a good one.
It's not over yet - just two more episodes.
❤ Lone Ranger and Tonto.....
Speaking Spanish pays off, though I have been to the National Monument that has the same name.
My guess was "Bunker" (Hill) and Archie Bunker, no idea if that's a national park
National Forest, not park
Bunker Hill is part of the Boston Historical National Park.
I live not far from there
Davey wins ❤🎉😂
I'll never understand why players in last ever bet anything... she could have gotten second place in this case. Davey is awesome btw
I guessed Yosemite. Yosemite Sam is a problematic tv character.
So did I, so did I...
Same here
😮
TV? Or radio?
My random guess was correct lmao
Tonto that correct, davey is a new jeopardy champion. Congratulations 🎉
I hate the way the word problematic is used these days
i only knew because of spanish lmao
What's so funny about that?
I can’t stand anti-spoiler comments
Things were going so well until they showed up
Cochise
I thought this was an easy one. Perhaps they got distracted by extra information. The fact that it's the name of a forest is not common knowlege and they may have gotten hung up on that part of the clue.
Tonto was problematic???

Thanks a lot!!
I love you
@@elizabongwater bong water? Really? Cool name!
@@terrypeckham4744 it's the only thing my deadbeat father ever gave me
@@elizabongwater still a cool name! Reminds me of my teen years. Sorry about your dad. People shouldn't do that to their children. Hope you've adjusted and moved on, if that's possible
How is Tonto problematic?
He is probably a caricature of a Native American?
@@fark69 That's debatable, though with the hokey dialogue they gave Mr. Silverheels.......
It means silly or dummy in Spanish. Jay Silverheels once said he didn't have a problem with the name.
No shit. He was helpful for crying out loud.
Yeah, that's where this clue becomes deceiving, because I thought of "problematic" as meaning something like the nosey neighbor or the bad boss. Not everyone has a problem with stereotypes on long-gone TV shows.
Knew it. I've heard THAT argument before. Lots of rationalizations for the character name, but it's still not acceptable by modern standards.
What a steaming load of nonsense. Stop advertising yourself.
@@cisium1184 I don't have a clue what you think you are talking about, and that's probably a good thing.

Thank you noble sir for you extraordinary efforts!
Knew the answer after the first ten words. Study history study history

Why would people wager anything if they don't even have an answer?
They have to wager before the clue is revealed, of course.
@@raymondm.9954 thanks for that. Am not really familiar with the show. Thanks.
Tonto is problematic? JTFC we've gotten soft.
