Do you have an idea of how to measure the impedance of a usb cable (should be 90ohms)

Sorry that's too much for me ... I'm a normal end user 🤣🤣🤣

Can anyone tell me where I can read on the FNIRSI FNB58 whether a device supports PPS? The device should actually be able to read this, but I can not find it.

Tried with Application / Toolbox / PD listerner and PD switch to the lift side but keeps saying "waiting for something ..." forever and never showed anyhitng. Then tried with the AVHzY CT3+SM-LD-00 (amzn.to/3SfGtwD affiliate link) and showed the PPS of my charger instantly. Sometimes these testers are weird ... really weird ....

@@allcheckout Thanks for you answer. The PS listener is the wrong tool for this. To use the listener you need 3 things as the manual says. 1. Micro USB on the PC-Port for power delivery, 2. USB-C Charger plugged into the USB-C in port, 3. a device to charge plugged in the USB out port. Than it will show you readings.
The right tool for PPS was Application --> Fast Charge --> PD Trigger
In this moment I find out what the problem was. The firmware... I had 0.63 running and updatet to 0.68. Now the PD Trigger gives me a reading.
If you get values from, to displayed. For example 3.3-11V 3.00A then PPS is available. If only fixed volt values are displayed, you do not have PPS.

@@AlexDD99 Thanks, but really weird solution. I've also tried Application --> Fast Charge --> PD Trigger and didn't work but I haven't upgraded the FW. The AVHzY shows it nice and clear in letters "PPS" right away. Really disappointing from Fnirsi and it's even the newer device.

thanks for the vid, very much appreciated. You think we could add a USB-C to USB-A adaptor, and _then_ measure a USB-C to USB-C cable? (of course, the adaptor could be adding resistance too).

@@allcheckout my pleasure! It's great vids like yours that help the rest of us to figure out how to use devices the fnb58 (especially people like me, who started out knowing just about zero about how devices like this work).

Not being able to measure USB-C cable has probably something to do with fact that it has higher voltage than stored in step 1.

    1.A-A(FNB58)-REG
    2.A-Cable-C(FNB)-REG
    3.A-Cable-B(FNB58)-REG
    4.C-Cable-C(FNB)-REG
    1と2~4の差分を取る方法です。2~4の電流の経路はA(FNB58)と異なります。
    A(FNB58)=B(FNB58)=C(FNB58)なら問題ありませんが、内部抵抗は違うので正しい計測とは言えません。また、4の場合は入力も異なるので正しい計測ができないのです。
