@tiatia there is absolutely no excuse to treat another human being like this in real life, it doesn't matter what that person went through. We are all responsible for every single one of our actions, including the ones born out of trauma.
If you genuinely think that me advising people not to stick around people that treat them like trash is a "mean" thing to do, then I truly, truly hope you never meet a toxic person in your life. Luckily, this is just a character, and brings no negative consequences to us, but being friends with someone like this in real life brings very real consequences. Again, hope you never need to find that out.

So I don't believe this is just "mean" like some people in te comments say. She is a bit insensitive tho xd. She is a typical girl affected by society expectations and beauty stereotypes, and she is worried about us not following this standards. If she is, additionally, clasist and manipulative it's probably because of how she was raised.
Also I know it's just a character in a asmr roleplay, but I think is fun to analyze little things, it helps recognizing thin kind of situations irl.
Aaaand one last thing, some people replied preocupated about my own friendship as if with one comment they could know about my personal life, just wanted to make sure they won't worry anymore cos I have great friends and we do not care about each other's body's.

Nah, she's definitely mean as well as ignorant. Calling her friend "hideous" and insulting her for wearing a shirt 2 times is mean. Constantly threatening to kick her out of the friend group if she doesn't look as good as them or what she believes to be as good as them, making fun of her, telling her to cancel her other plans to hang out with them otherwise she doesn't deserve to be friends with them, that's all mean and shallow. I see what you mean by "she's just trying to help her friend", but the title is most definitely more accurate with "fake friend" because a real friend doesn't do those things. It's 100% a friendship based on being "better than" the others in the group and tearing one another down to boost one's own ego.

If you’ve had choral enunciation lessons for English (American voice majors only get enunciation lessons in French and German, but not English for whatever reason), do you incorporate those techniques into your ASMR?

I think its mostly her accent. Filipino accent doesnt have very heavy intonations and it kinda translates easier to speaking english plus english was american taught historically and most of the population knows english..in a way i guess it could be accent+fluency+acting... Also,If i rmmber right it was voted the sexiest accent in asia once lol
