He has insane offensive potential but even though u may think he is risky and greedy as a a defenseman, he's still always in the top % defense potential in the league.
Yes Pavel was the most 'hands' u could find in his ERA and he had insane offensive skills, he still had almost the best differential when it came to defensive plays ...
Makar blowing Dach's doors off and completely undressing Flurey may be one of the most beautiful goals I have ever witnessed.
Yeah, people may be disappointed at his totals this year, but the fact he's consistently driving play and getting scoring chances and shot attempts for up to half the game is an insane athletic feat. Those totals should go up significantly as they get back personnel for him to work with effectively.

Makar plays on a WAY better team.
@@StriderDSC Karlsson was and is a great defensemen, but he’s no Cale Makar regardless of team.
I think their offensive output is similar, but Makar's skating and defense are definitely better. Also could be said that Makar may not have yet reached his prime, whereas Karlsson's is almost certainly now or behind him

@@tdfmtig the clips are unique. its not about him scoring goals, its about HOW he scores them. The positioning, the rotations, the shot consistency, and above all else the GODLY skating ability allow him to do things no other defenseman in the league can dream of doing
