I came to say this. TikTok made me try to do my own nails and I did. First time was a charm but I had lifting after a week. Now I know what I have to do 🥹 I’m so glad my algorithm thought I might like this video.
When you use plastic full cover tips instead of the soft gel (like Apres) if you use polish you can remove your design/set with acetone and start over with no damage to the extension. Which is great for people who like to change designs more often than 3 weeks.
@@marianalopez3132 That is a good question. Beetles says they are gel tips but in the product description it says they're acrylic which is plastic. The only way to really tell is by putting one in acetone and seeing what happens. Gel tips melt very easily, easy enough that removing polish from them with 100% acetone can ruin them. That doesn't happen with plastic.

You make it look easy applying the gel to the tips and your fingers! I struggled so bad. I now use the solid glue! Never seen primer applied to tips and that’s a tip I’ll definitely start doing!

I’m hoping to grow these nails out another 5 weeks and then try nail art on my natural nails 🙏🏽 what made my nails strong is not removing them often so I’m minimizing the time I’m soaking in acetone!

This is the hack known as “Lazy Girl Method” or “Apres dupe” “femi beauty hack” … gel extensions are when you overlay gel over the natural nail and sculpt your “extensions”. I guess it sort of is technically a gel extension right … the gel IS on the natural nail ! This is my GO-TO method!! So great for the busy girl! Or the girl who likes to change their nails more frequently right! This Beetles nail ‘glue’ is SOOOO GREAT! it works better than most other gels I’ve tried. I’m loving this gooseneck lamp. Looks like you do great work !!! 😍🔥♥️🌹
I think the tips are also made of the gel no? Ive seen a bunch of gel x videos and they use gel like extensions that soak off just like gel? Idk maybe im wrong lol i just got into this method

I watched a bunch of your videos on here and on tiktok before attempting to do gel x nails myself. You're a life saver! I learned so much. Do you happen to have any tips on how to keep the extensions from being crooked when you put them on before flash curing? A couple of my natural nails are naturally crooked so a couple of the extensions always come out a little crooked as well.

I use to cut my cuticles like this this until I started using my nail drill and water to get it all of and smooth that’s the best way and safer for beginners

Tips usually come flimsy , you have no problem with them bending / not being sturdy enough? I’m rough and heavy handed and when I have acrylics I know I’m safe bc it’s pretty sturdy and I have to hit it quite a few times before it actually breaks.

I needed up ordering these nail tips abs for some reason my where so long abs I got the medium almond , I cut a bit abs filed to shape them up love how they came out but wish they came more of a med size
Omg I had this same issue ! I felt like they looked so much longer than how they look on her! I wonder why 🤔🤔🤔 I filled them a bit but they’re still kinda long .. I do wish they came in a shorter size cause other than that I do like them

My nails lasts me pretty long .. but you can always add builder gel/gel base coat on top for extra strength. I hope that helps
