Love this one you're working on. Very cool fabrics. But I can see that very small squares creates some of that look, too. Thank you for this tutorial. Hope to try it sometime soon.

A doubled sided fusible interfacing would save you time and since your stitching over everything it wouldn't matter if the scraps are overlapping...enough would be tacked down with the fusable.

I agree! And I have done a video using the heat n bond product a while back, the glue stick was just easier to use while I sit and watch tv at night- it keeps my hands busy and keeps my mind off late night snacking LOL Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment, it is truly much appreciated :)

This is a pretty cool technique. It seems so freeing. Now I know what I'm going to do with all of these little bits of fabric I've been saving for an unknown project.

Hi there, miss pcg! I had never heard of the masterboard concept until I saw your short about it. You’d better believe I went right to the long form video. This technique is so cool, and interests me from a paper crafting and a fabric hoarding perspective. I love how you use the fabric with stamps and cancellation marks on it. Postage stamp images and actual postage stamps are one of my favorite design elements. can’t wait to try this masterboard technique myself! 🪡🧵💙

Glad it was helpful! Thank you so much for watching and your kind comment. I hope you have fun making your fabric masterboard, it's a great way to use up your scraps. I like making paper ones also, cutting them up for fun collage cards, and journaling spots.

What a beautiful technique! I love the finished pieces you made. I enjoy making paper masterboards, as I find the process so relaxing. This would be likewise. I guess I will have to buy some fabric LOL. Wishing you a blessed day.

Oh no! I didn't mean for you to have to go buy fabric LOL I am sure you have some clothing you no longer wear in your closet that you can cut up, old ties perhaps. Fabric is crazy expensive make sure you hit a thrift shop if you are going that route.

This is so cute! I want to use your technique but, use double sided interfacing that @bbymks5 suggested. I want to make a tote bag.

Hi Maria! Yes, I have used heat n bond also for this, but for sitting in front of the tv at night it was just easier to use a glue stick- I believe the double sided interfacing for the tote bag would probably be more stable, I am sure your tote bag will be adorable!! Thank you for your kind comment and happy crafting!
