Your setup looks great! You make me want to get back into knitting….primarily so I can make myself some socks 😆 but I always start a project and never get around to finishing.
oh thank you! took me a while to figure out this system lol here's to hoping it sticks for 2023. yes on the knitting! theres no rush on finishing them but my suggestion is that if you want to finish them and keep the momentum going, start small like work on them 10 mins a day or only 5 rows every day. you'd be surprised how fast they go after that. I'll be your cheerleader!

Yessss 🤣🤣 It’s helped me in the past to see it in my face. What I spend and when/where. I have a lot of hobbies and I REALLY don’t need more yarn/mugs or planner related stuff 🤣

I love your honesty! I'm trying a Hobonichi Weeks for 2023 (moving from Personal Rings). I'm looking for inspiration and ideas for layouts, the notes section, etc. You gave me many of each -- plus more shops to explore!! While I have done so it recent years, I crochet and would love to get back into it (my yarn supply is embarrassing). Thank you for the video and ideas!

Birds fly studio and xo mama plans both have kits for the hobonichi weeks. I love planning but it has to look pretty as well as be functional. I can’t seem to help myself.
It's not a Midliner, it's a Mildliner. They're called that because the colours are subtle and mild compared to traditional types of highlighter.

Thank you for posting this! I’m a textile artist - knitter, handweaver and punch rug maker. I’m also dealing with how to manage my life. I just started with a hobonichi weeks but use a disk system to keep my notes for projects. I am using the last part of the book for collections/notes. Good luck to you and happy knitting!
@@jillc720 I have all types of projects going on hahah. I also have been using the back portion as a catch all for some of the tings I'm knitting and then indexing it as a reference. I do plan to prob do a mid-year flip though of it. And one I get my life together I think I'll do a vide on the common planner since that is my main journaling one. Happy knitting!
@@Felicihobbies it’s also vegetable tan leather, not vegan. It’s real leather, just tanned and dyed differently. But it’s great. I know a lot of people hate the back pocket, but I love mine so much. I have them on my Gillio and VDS planners too. Huge selling point for me.
I tried to use the weeks for my finances and HATED it but I think I would have actually used it if I had made my trackers horizontal
yeah I dont like to carry my finances with me everywhere I go just in case I lose something but I think this method will work out really well for me. Let's see how the year goes and I can report back hahah

Oh thank you! I'm not sure what people would be interested in regarding planners but I'll see maybe I will do a Common planner set up as well. As for the small stencils they are called "Hobonichi Accessory - Stencil - Activities" (blue one) and "Hobonichi Accessory - Stencil - Basic" (green one) I bought these from the hobonichi store in Japan when I ordered my weeks but you can find them on www.jetpens.com, amazon, or saw some on Etsy.

It's a recent purchase and I really love it, kinda kicked myself in the butt for not getting it sooner lol. Thus far I'm good with the one because it's my main one and I have other fountain pens with different fun inks lol. Lets see what happens after I come back from the Philly Pen Show 😂

I imagine you could, since the moterm has the two bottom clasps I just didn't try it in this one because its really a pain to take this weeks out

Does the B6 CS folio fit the common planner?? People on the Facebook group said it didn’t. I have a classic CS TN on the way because I can’t handle writing in a notebook where the pockets stick up
for me it does and I put a clear Lauren phelps (cut the back to fit it) clear cover on it and shoved it in there. My issue with the common planner is the covers themselves, they are little "flimsy" in my opinion compared to some of the other planners out there, they just aren't as structured. so its really hard to shove it into certain planners like the chic sparrow. If you use the moterm it fits fine and great, but as I mentioned I dont like the back flap and it doesn't lay flat. I shoved it into the chic sparrow and I'm pretty sure I really damaged the back of my common planner. Choosing to ignore it at the moment since I cant see it.

does the snap on closure on the moterm annoy you when you're writing in your weeks?
for me, no. also overtime and using it every day seems to stay open and flat on that side. If you aren't thrilled about that you could look into planner room shop and get one of her folios that doesn't have a snap closure. Since Q1 is coming to a close I do plan to do an updated video on my weeks to show how things are going and all that, so I'll show that planner as well.
I’m watching ur video on my desk too and had to run to get my phone. Because I couldn’t comment but where did you get that first hobonichi with the pen holders? U have the yellow planner in it. I love all those pockets and the big one in it too.
the one with the pockets it's from Moterm and its called the Moterm Weeks, this one is the veg-tan leather version of it, I linked their website in the description! if you need more help on the specifics let me know!

@@MrsConde oh man I'm so sorry I'm not sure which one specifically you are talking about. If you'd like to give me the minute in the video you are referencing to and then I could look? But I'm only using a couple different covers, the two with the clasp/buttons are from Moterm, the smaller weeks with the elastic is from PlannerRoomRefill and the B6 cover for my common planner is from ChicSparrow, I also linked some of these in the description which may help. The pen holder that is on my weeks is from ChicSparrow as well since it's a separate thing that doesn't come with the weeks. I really hope this helps answers your questions but not sure if it did :(
