I absolutely loved Re:Mind, it completely filled in every aspect of KH3 that was needed for that ending.
but god damn it why wasn't it in the main game, I hate this incomplete game being sold and then cash off of the better experience from players.

Let's be honest Kingdom Hearts as a whole is just a tragic poly relationship story where the bfs go rescue their gf like 4 times but then the bfs have to rescue each other a couple times and then the gf tries to rescue the bfs once and then has get rescued by the bfs and it's just a poly disaster.

Agreed. KH3 has some of the weirdest pacing I've ever seen and the DLC didn't do much to help that. Each game ends up being more confusing than the last; leaving more questions than answers. I still love this mess though.
Funny, to me it was 50/50. It cleared as much stuff but at the same time it added just as much questions, for good or bad.

Doesn't help that the games are on so many different game systems it's impossible to play them all without dropping a ton of cash and time.

To be serious for a second, i feel like the Re:Mind portion of the DLC should have been in the base game, but i'm fine with the other stuff being DLC. Every game needs a complete main game, but not all of them needs a post game. And not to mention the extrastuff always comes out later in other releases.

I wouldn't say that in full. A lot of the plot shown should have been better represented but there is no good way to implement this content without interrupting the flow of the main game. You need to beat the game once for most of what happens to feel impactful. Playing as other party members works but when it's the final boss rush in the main game it's hard to balance for both player and character levels. To keep the game challenging and prgression rewarding you need to play as Sora through the main gauntlet. I don't know how I feel about using the ending of the game to advertise and tease dlc that is integral to the next games story, as well I don't know how I feel about the price. What I am sure is that the dlc is justified. It expands on the main game, gives a lot of content, and nothing really feels unfinished in either main or dlc when it comes to both story and mechanics.

I don't understand what you mean by incomplete. This is something that has always confused me. And people are saying that this should've been in the base game. But in my eyes, I see Kingdom Hearts 3 as a complete game. Sure, it has flaws, but that doesn't make it incomplete.

Thank you, this is exactly what I said, people praise 2fm as the pinnacle of the series(which I do agree with), yet seem to forget that game came out just like kh3 then was resold as final mix at full price with some new ideas that fix fans criticism, just like kh3 remind does, people don't seem to understand that devs can make a game then think "oh we could add this to make it better" but no, they always seem to think "bad developer, you should've had infinite foresight and put this in originally". Kingdom hearts 2 came out with lacking content and janked combat but was fine, was made even better in final mix, kh3 came out with lacking content(although more than base kh2)and combat jank and it was fine, was made even better with remind. I don't see this is a case of keeping content back, I see this the same was as final mix, add ons to the gameplay and story to fix the game and fans criticisms with the games while explaining some more of the story, final mixes and remind are NOT needed to understand the stories of these games.

Somebody needs to tell these writers to promote thoughts not theories.
I mean most of this stuff was just a redo of the ending of the vanilla game, would you really have wanted to do that back to back twice? Because I'm mostly sure the actual time spent on the DLC was for the new boss fights and two other characters. (Also a lot of this seemed to be directly answering "yes this happened" on screen instead of implying anything because people called everything a plothole before this even if it made sense enough to a lot of people.
One of the developers (Tai I think) actually confirmed that they spent most of the time on developing the new bosses.
Sadly, it seems that most people don't really realize just how much work goes into creating them, and brush it off.
