Nice install bro, question about the MESO vent rings, are the MESO vent rings just too "thick" to be inserted into the Dasita? Thanks
Yes they’re too wide so I took out the Dasaita vent rings, used a light grit sand paper to rough up the chrome then I applied like 6-7 coats of matte black spray paint. I then let it dry and once it was good to go I placed it back into the truck. Not a fan of chrome so I went the extra distance there! Hope that helps!! Appreciate the support my friend 🙌🏼🤘🏼
are you not able to take that head unit and put it with the oem bessel?
Great question, unfortunately no - the new head unit is A LOT bigger than the OEM and they include a new bezel

Kenwood 7709s works wonders in my 2021 Taco, those janky ass HU are problematic from what the Installer said when I worked for a Car Stereo & Tool shop for a bit, get yaself a name brand one and ul be better off!~
Can’t say that’s been my experience, in fact, I’ve gone with brand names in past in older Tacomas of mine and only had headaches. My Dads 2015 Tacoma has a name brand replacement and he doesn’t like it.
So far, my Daisata has been awesome 🤷♂️appreciate the feedback though!
Same with Kenwood & Pioneer Premier & JVC in the past with my Silverado before the Taco!~
