I love these tiny homes and I really am trying to convince my husband they are great. The price is too high for me and I'm retired. Why did the price's sky rocket so much? I understand costs go up but seriously, I can figure out how much a square foot you are paying for a really small home and its too much.
Yes it is. You can buy a 2 bedroom Modular of Prefab home for 99K. Modular and Prefab homes are replacing Manufactured homes which used to be called Trailers, but that name went away 20 yrs ago when they started making 6 inch walls and insulated just like homes. Roofs had 20 yr. guarantee's, etc.
@@janephillips3627 - And you still have to pay for the land, to get utities run to your homesite, pay for all the permits, build a driveway, and build the foundation your Modular will sit on. But hey, if you can afford all that, go for it!
Their prices are far too high for what you get 😮 I wouldn’t buy anything from them they’re like used car salesmen or say QVC or HSN! They’ll be selling them there soon.
I would recommend placing the solar system batteries in a box under the house, as the fumes from the batteries can spread throughout the house, causing health problems if inhaled over a long period of time. The batteries should also be protected from above so that nothing can fall on them. As shown in the video, it is dangerous. This could result in a fire that cannot be easily extinguished .
Check these people out. Seattle is a long distance away from East Tn. I believe you started out with good intentions and everything was done for your customers. Somewhere along the way though, in my honest opinion, the videos reflect this as well, the dollar signs showed up. You had to change the sales pitch in your videos to include language that you didn’t originally use. The homes spoke for themselves and you were proud of this. Now you have to make sure that you sell every single word you use in showing these homes.
They still offer the base model for 20K. When they tour the homes of the people who live there, they often say what they cost and it varies from 20K to to 140k depending on size and all the things they requested to be added, solar and so on. Much like normal homes, they don't all cost the same.
Two months ago the same Incredi Cottage model was offered with a lot at Buffalo Creek for $44,500 - less than half of this price. What is going on here???
That price did NOT include a lot or the full solar package. $44,900 is the current base price for this home without solar, without 3 extra batteries, without a bay window, without the wood trim package, and without a lot.
So a mere $55,000 for solar (which is not needed in the Forest), a bump-out window (not a bay window), some trim and a lot (probably $35,000 to rent for a year guaranteed). What a steal!
I bought a 1500 sq foot, 3 br, 2 bath, 13 block basement with a 2 car garage for $110,000!!! On a 1/4 acre in a great location near the Ausable River! NOT cheap build with any short cuts. This is cute but overpriced in my opinion.
$99,000 for a closet? Ridiculous. This is obviously advertised for people moving here from more expensive states because people in Tennessee know that price for a shed is astronomical.

Check your math. The home is $224.50/Sq ft, with a base price of $44,900. LUCAS.... IN A HURRICANE... an owner could just dismount those solar panels... if they are plug and play ... And bring the panels in during the hurricane, to keep them safe.... And then just bring them back out after and plug and play again... And WOW... on the easy ballast and stacking bins for transport.... And hurrah that they can take high wind.... GREAT NEW SYSTEM... you rock my dear!!!!!
I'm reading a lot of negative comments about the price. Might be easier to understand the price if it was broken down so folks could see the reasoning. Make it happen!! Just do it! If they don’t have a job for you I’m certain you could find something easy. Depending on how much you need, you could even work from home! Nice to meet you!❤
There are 2 closets. The 2' wide closet with laundry hook ups, so if you get a combo W/D, then you can have a hanging rod or shelves above it. There's a 4' wide closet in the bedroom. And you can get a bed frame with storage drawers below. Also, they allow a storage unit up to 6'x6' to be placed on the lot.
I agree. My mom lived with my husband and I the last 3 years of her life. What a blessing and wonderful memories my husband and I have of her being with us. I wouldn’t change a single minute I had with her, other than having more time 😢
Have you dealt with Dementia? My MIL screamed all day. she kept getting outside and running into the street. She had much better care in the dementia unit of our local place. it was $6500 a month and worth it.
If you rearranged the closet to be on the other side of the bathroom, you could have a Murphy bed if you didn’t put a window there on that “long” wall. Or even possibly on the wall where the closet is. It’s not the best floor plan ever. Or even knock out the window leave that a solid wall and leave the closet where it is. Boom. Murphy bed. It’d be cooler that way. Maybe a desk that folds to the wall on the other side of the Murphy bed when it’s put up. Put the bed away, and the desk pops out for day use lol. Optional of course. Plus I think a shelf in the closet at the proper height SHOULD be installed above the batteries ALREADY for people. And a bar to hang clothes. NEVER heard of a new house not having at least a built out closet. Cutting corners ain’t cool. 😅
Didn't see a light in the shower. How ya going to see at night? Now, how much with the add a cottage. Heck, I could live in the house as is, the golden hue of the light coming through the yellow shades of buttercups.
If I was fortunate enough to buy one I would have it open into kitchen so I could unilize the space for living. As it is now the door takes up living room. I would rather step into living area to kick off my shoes than walk into the kitchen. That’s how I planned mine over a year ago. I’m still hoping🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I really absolutely love this cottage. I told you that I would buy an Incredible Tiny Home or cottage and pay extra towards rent. Even if you have to add a percentage for the cost of the place. I think that would be a great idea if you were to add an Incredi-Box to it. Remove the washing machine and dryer and put a doorway through there.
So pretty. Love the shake shingles. Can u tell us where the new panels are made? Are they made in U.S.? Wonder if the extra batteries can be kept in an insulated or heated shed?
The cost of building materials is out of control in todays market. Its 4x's today then it was just 2 years ago. Factor in that almost everything is shipped in from China. Its no wonder the cost of these home are too expensive . These homes are perfect for retirement, except the cost. Not everyone was able to have a retirement savings.
A functional solution for hiding the fuse box would be to add a little framed out spice shelf that's attached to the door of the fuse box. Much like how a medicine cabinet/mirror works in a bathroom. 🙂
I want to buy that solar set up. I've already had a bunch on the roof for 7 years. Wow have they saved me a bundle. I want more for maybe a hot tub. I love that.
Your buildings are so beautiful and so well done but living on social security and that's all I have to live on I couldn't even begin to afford one of these at this price anymore. Not even one of the cheap ones. And being disabled doesn't help me any. I guess I'm going to have to go to a shed home and live in a shed till I can afford to even begin to do the inside or put electric or septic or whatever I need to it. $45,000 for the house and $55,000 for the extras means you're paying $100,000 for the house. Whatever amount that comes out of your pocket is what you're paying!
@@AsaGardiner - Sorry, but solar panels not attached to the house, delivery and set-up costs, skirting and the fee to live in this community are NEVER included in the cost per Sq ft.
I think ITH is doing great things with their new home prices and deals (20- 50,000) But when it comes to the resales of these homes everything is close to or over $100,00O. That's double or triple the original price from just a couple years ago. There is the problem. Prices go up but that's some serious inflation and I know you guys will always spin it in your favor.
Too funny, I watched them tape this video from my bathroom window!
The. Price needs to come down. We will get there
It's cute but it ain't worth $99,900!! Then i have to buy a second one for $45,000 just so i can have a bedroom! Ya'll are crazy to ask for this much money!
It’s 44k. you don’t have to buy the skirting, the solar or their lot.
That Solar Mount is FANTASTIC ‼️‼️ Thank you
Amanda - brought me to tears talking about her Grandma. It shows the compassion, and care she has, for everyone.... She’s the co-owner of a successful, growing company, she understands the economic crisis that’s happening now, while keeping her small town values of family, connection, and community. I have so much respect for her.
Beautifully decorated ❤😊
Randy just blew my mind by telling me I could put one on a foundation. 😮😮😮
Melody has a fun job!❤
Good evening from Syracuse NY Randy and Amanda and everyone else
Hey Earl, have a good evening😉
Thank you my friend
I am greatful for you all cause this giving us lots of prepanning options as well as helping the affordability just to survive these days
I'm reading a lot of negative comments about the price. Might be easier to understand the price if it was broken down so folks could see the reasoning. I love the look of the outside of the cottage but I really don't like like the floorplan, not that I can think of a better one. I'm still saving for a 8 x 20 incredi box with a loft.
Base price for that is 45k someone said. So an extra 55k ....
Batteries are $800 each, $1,800 is over priced
TOOK OVER 12 MINUTES TO GET TO THE TOUR.... Randy I miss the informational videos you make.
Good Afternoon Randy&&Amdama &ACE.Hello Lucas beautiful cottage.🐻 of Knoxville TN
Love the color of the shutters ❤
I was just there last week. I did like the cottage except i would need a living space.
Nice! Put a stopper on bathroom barn door so it doesn’t come off the track and a light in the shower. Maybe a folding door on the closet in back room.
I have 2 single daughters. One pays $2000 a month rent for her house. The other just put a camper on our farm. I’d love her to go this route!!
So cute! I love the gold yellow!””
I agree with Randy! No loft! It’s so cute without it!
Meetoo Amanda ! I love this lil house!
Flooding if grounded to the ground?
Love the solar so us seniors can clean them!
Yikes want one this house is so beautiful
I need thisTiny home so bad and a job selling Tiny Homes! I lost my significant other 2 years ago to Covid-19 and Im a disabled nurse but when Ron passed I've been in a bad situation for year's now! I love you and Amanda's business concept so much and think with my background I would be an asset to your company! I 've sold real estate in 🎉NC as well as TimeShare! I would just love to help you with your dream ! This is my dream to help people too because it looks like hear I go again because I am to keep from losing my home of 6years now that ! I 'm trying not to lose my home but it's not looking to good! I want this house with solar-panels in the mountains its my dream! This is my favorite too! I just love it!I want the first one please 🙏🏻 😂🎉🎉
Go for it!!! I’m a disabled Occupational Therapist and I’m 59 so I know when I turn 65 I won’t be able to stay in my home. The taxes alone are out if my budget. I’m hoping to go tiny. Make it happen!! Just do it! If they don’t have a job for you I’m certain you could find something easy. Depending on how much you need, you could even work from home! Nice to meet you!❤
Storage for clothing?
There are 2 closets. The 2' wide closet with laundry hook ups, so if you get a combo W/D, then you can have a hanging rod or shelves above it. There's a 4' wide closet in the bedroom. And you can get a bed frame with storage drawers below. Also, they allow a storage unit up to 6'x6' to be placed on the lot.
Once again, I can't wait to get there! I'm coming for a visit to see what I want.❤
Where are they in Florida?

I could never put any family members in a nursing home never they took care of us as they get older it's our responsibility to take care of them
What's the solar special you mentioned at the beginning that you'd tell us about at the end? 🙂
Love this design
I really like this one. I just need the right piece of land and a foundation for it.
I love 💕😘 all your Tiny Home's 😊
You should rename this the "writing cottage". Its a great size for somebody who need to get away and focus. With room for a desk and a nice chair.
Front door should open towards kitchen. It will open up the living space.
Would you want someone coming in and door hitting your backside at stove?
Don't think so.
No door should open away from house to allow access to more of the room!!
Amanda. and Randy my Cottage will be done soon and I would love it if you to signed it😁💕!!
Would love it plus add on. But out of my price
you mentioned being able to remove the axles and put the cottage on a foundation are you able to do that with all tiny homes?
With all ITH tiny homes. You can remove the hitch, too.
My mother struggling for 8 yrs. She never knew my son, even though he was 3 when she left . It's a devastating disease for sure!!
Gawd, i never thought they were going to show the inside!
So pretty. Love the shake shingles. Can u tell us where the new panels are made? Are they made in U.S.? Wonder if the extra batteries can be kept in an insulated or heated shed?
The 4 batteries need to be kept cool, so inside the home with a mini-split. Most people only need 2 batteries, which take up half as much space.
Who's supposed to be able to afford this? Askin for a friend
A functional solution for hiding the fuse box would be to add a little framed out spice shelf that's attached to the door of the fuse box. Much like how a medicine cabinet/mirror works in a bathroom. 🙂
Hi Randy and Amanda..Please set up Randy’s new housy
Whoever pay that price God bless them.
I want to buy that solar set up. I've already had a bunch on the roof for 7 years. Wow have they saved me a bundle. I want more for maybe a hot tub. I love that.
Beautiful home but tooo much money. What is happening with the inflated prices?
Wow I love ❤️ 😍 💖 this one..I would put the bedroom an a master bathroom with the washer and dryer in the add a cottage..❤❤❤❤..
It's sad that a senior citizens are being shoved off to the side. We'll keep up your good work God bless you both❤
