You can mix those overcooked beans with flour with your favourite seasoning (you can add just salt and it will taste great too) and make tortilla like flat breads.

Why did you choose vegetarian?
We have a large family as well, and are considering this switch.
*Spiritually its my personal fast into the Lord :)
*We were were vegetarian in the Garden of Eden!
*Cost less and can be healthier
I have a few friends who can with stock pots - successfully 🫶🏼. I barely use my canner now, but it is soooo satisfying and it absolutely saves $!!!! 10:43
