Also tested them. Liked them aswell. A bit of cheaper plastic box. I wish they would offer a more premium version. LDAC is nice and fine but the drivers needs to be good enough for enjoying the sound.
Besides LDAC there is also L2HC by Huawei. I have some of their TWS and they can really compete here. (goes up to 960 kbps)
Also Sony of course also offers LDAC support for example in their affordable LinkBuds S aswell as the brand new XM5.
The highest rate on LDAC I could not achieve a pleasing listening experience as the phone did not keep up. I checked it even with Sony phones that seem to be a bit weaker with their bluetooth (up to the 1IV, 1V has that tremendously improved). L2HC I could reach the highest quality though (Mate 50 Pro + FreeBuds Pro 2)
Game mode is not only changing the sound a slight bit it is reducing the latency a lot. That means the quality of the sound gets a bit worse in favor of less latency.
Multidevice support should work with AAC afaik.
Otherwise yeah. Good sound on the Engine 4. Its tuning is main stream for sure. So typical V-Shape but I do not dislike their tuning though.
I have had the 1more and have the Edifier Pro. Both have LDAC. 1more is dual driver. The Qualcomm BT 5.2 chipset supports LDAC so there are quite a few more.
This said, these look nice and I'll look at getting some.

Very nice review, I ordered 2 days ago n came up with reviews in CZcams. My main focus on buying it is sound quality itself especially genres like rock, metal n dance pop. I like tight bass with good technicalities overall, do u feel I will get it from this TWS. I like their previous model true engine 3 SE n using for more thn 4 yrs now without any issue. I hv soundcore liberty 4 NC which is also great specially with ANC n transparent model, sound fun.

Hey Andy can you test smsl su1 and compare it to other dongles. It is highly regarded by a lot of people as bang for the buck desktop dac. I wanna know how it compares against 5 star dongles. Thanks.

I like the rock and roll preset it sound more lively. I do have problem with the volume tho. I wish its a bit louder.

If you are already updated with the latest FW, and you still find the volume not loud enough, then it could be that you just something louder than this unit. I know for the most part TWS tend to offer limited power for loudness, I have heard a few TWS which even lower with volume
