Supreme Court justices shouldn’t decide about President Trump immunity because he has immunity,so why debate. Those prosecuting him should know about it. If Trump has immunity for all acts, even those that as he says "cross the line," then so does Biden. What that means is that Biden can as an official act kill Donald J. Trump.

By the way, regarding the vice president's official residence--if most of Washington, D.C. becomes an independent state, and the center of town remains a federal terrirory, the vice president's official residence, the National Zoo, and most of the foreign embassies will be located in the independent state. The vice president's main office will still be located in the federal district, on the White House grounds.

I was reading about the protests for Gaza earlier today. I was reading that there were peaceful protests that ended up turning violent due to the way law enforcement in some places handled the protests. I was reading that this is like a repeat of the anti Vietnam war protests on college campuses back in late 1960s and early 1970s. I would agree these protests against Israeli Gaza conflict are very much like the anti Vietnam protests back in late '60s and early '70s.

In approximately 1934, the Supreme Court began meeting in its own building, across the plaza from the Capitol building. Both buildings are operated by the Architect of the Capitol. Today the Supreme Court has its own police department. Both the United States Capitol Police and the Department of Justice--U.S. Marshals Service support the Supreme Court at times.
The Supreme Court Police likely keep the Supreme Plaza fenced off and clear. The Capitol Police likely blocked off nearby streets, and likely serve as extra staffing if needed for the Supreme Court Police. The marshals likely travel with the justices and protect some of their homes.

Actually, the Supreme Court first met at the Royal Exchange, New York City. Then it met at Independence Hall and then in Philadelphia's Old City Hall from 1791 - 1805. After that it moved to DC where it was placed wherever the could put it while what was supposed to be a temporary chamber for it was built in the Capitol building in what is now called the Old Supreme Court Chamber. It then moved to the Old Senate Chamber in 1860 and held court their until 1935. In 1935 they finally had their own building after a century plus of what was supposed to be temporary housing.
It's kinda like how the Vice President's mansion is still legally only supposed to be a temporary site until they build the permanent official one, but Congress as usual doesn't get around to actually building something permanent for decades and sometimes centuries.
