It’s crazy how much this performance changed the trajectory of the entire league. If klay didn’t go off this game, the thunder would’ve likely beat the cavs in the finals, kd would’ve stayed in okc, and the warriors dynasty would’ve ended much sooner.

Pre injury Klay was the best 2 way guard in the league. He would consistently lock up Dame, Harden, Westbrook, etc in the playoffs and then proceed to have games like this.
Kids today don’t understand how good he was. Had he gone elsewhere he could’ve averaged 25+ a game but he was perfect in this role playing next to Steph

it's so sad seeing how much klay has regressed this year, I can't blame him at all after those two brutal injuries though. It's refreshing to come back and remember how incredible he was in his peak. on Klay's best nights, he was a top 20 player ever, and in his best stretches he was the greatest of all time - as in, no one else in NBA history could have gone on as much of a tear as he did for certain periods of time. Remarkable player.
Same sigh. Those injuries. His shot mechanics look so much different now. But I get it. Two tough injuries. Just happy to seem him still on the court even if he will never be the same

I remember watching this game with some buds. We were going crazy watching allay go off. One of the best games I’ve watched live
Forgotten somewhat because they didn't win the title, but this is a top 5 post 2000 playoff moment for me. This is on the short list with Bron's 48 special, Bron's Game 6 in Boston, Kawhi's Game 7 against Philly, and Giannis going for 50 to clinch the title against Phoenix in the 21 Finals. Certain games are about the stakes and I've never seen a second banana carry a squad in an elimination game like Klay did for the Dubs. If Klay isn't iconic in this game, that team doesn't even MAKE the Finals.
