Both teams played their hearts out tonight dont forget chino hills played to their fulledt excent tonight. just shots weren't falling when they needed also in those crucial moments they didnt capitilize. also these kids are still in high school so i dont wanna hear no choke or none of that. From watching these clips I can tell you that Liangelo has to focus on taking his body composition to another level. He is 6'5 (guard height) and about 220. If he loses 5 pounds and drops his body fat percentage, he will move way better! At the next level he will need every advantage he can get as he is not naturally quick. Don't get me wrong, he is a lethal shooter but the athletes at the next level will close out way quicker than what he is seeing now!
You gotta give Mater Dei some credit, they came prepared and did everything needed to beat this GREAT Chino Hills team: knocking down the open jumpers, finishing at the rim, playing solid defense the entire game, and most importantly competing with confidence. Sure, some of the calls may be questionable in the end, but they weren't blatantly wrong.
First, the blocking foul. Sueing made a side step and avoided chest-to-chest direct contact with LaMelo Ball, which means Ball, who made a great effort getting into position, did not beat Sueing to the spot, hence the blocking foul. Second, Bol Bol blocked Onyeka's shot near the top of its arc, from the video's angle it is hard to tell whether the ball had started to fall downward. The ref made a good decision with the no call, sending Onyeka to the line twice (And you can argue Sueing didn't make much contact in the first place). The out of bounds play: Eli Scott clearly has one foot stepped out of bounds when he attempts to save the ball, so it was the right call. A historical season for Chino Hills again, shame that they fell short but they will come back strong next season. Good luck to Mater Dei in the Finals

Spencer Freedman Mater Dei is a solid point guard and Bol Bol has to get his handle up some what from what I saw. Liangelo was nowhere to be found this game from what was in this video. He showed flashes when hitting big shots but he needed to do more for them to win. Lamelo did great except for trying to shot fadeaway from like 5 feet away from the 3 point line. Also and taking long bombs from the 3 point line near the end of the game. Other than that both teams did well!

All season long Chino's been able to glide of raw talent and shot making ability and I was just waiting for them to play that one team they couldn't outscore. I was there at the game it was a fun exciting and great game to watch however I was very disappointed with those who were operating the time clock. I promise you about eight or nine times the guy just let the time go like 3 or 4 seconds. A few times they put a couple seconds back on the clock but other than that it was ridiculous they need to fire whoever was in control of the time.
