Tom Selleck, Laura San Giacomo, and Alan Rickman star in this stylish take on the venerable Western genre from the director of ""Lonesome Dove."" I can't remember how many times I've watched that movie, I always enjoy it... One of the best goodie/baddie couple... Losing Alan Rickman was very sad... Bad guys are not the same since he passed.
My favorite all-time "Western"- even if it is Down Under! The entire cast is fantastic & the story is superb!

Alan Rickman set the bar for villains when he did Die Hard that still stands today. Can't think of anyone whose even comes close. And it was perfectly complemented by that evil death stare he's best known for. When he did Galaxy Quest, I thought they wasted his talent in the role he played. Then the scene where his alien friend gets shot and dies in his arms changed all that. The Die Hard persona kicks in, and we see that death stare he's famous for.

I don't know if it written in the script or improvised but it's classic Rickman when he says "...Oh by the way your fired".

Alan Rickman was one of the great villains in many movies and he was great at it.
He wasn't a very good gun fighter in this movie; but he made up for it by being a complete creep.
May this man and villain, who was known as a GENTLEMAN rest in peace.
