    BREAD PAKODA RECIPE
    Preparation time: 20 minutes
    Cooking time: 20 minutes
    Serves: 4
    Ingredients:
    6 Bread slices
    For batter
    1 cup gram flour
    ¼ tsp Carom seed
    1 tsp red chili powder
    A pinch baking soda
    Water as required
    Oil to fry
    For filling
    1 cup boiled potatoes
    ½ tsp salt
    ¼ tsp carom seed
    ½ red chili powder
    ½ tsp garam masala powder
    ¼ tsp turmeric powder
    1tbsp chopped coriander leaves
    1tsp chopped green chili
    Method:
    1. For filling-
    Mix together boiled mashed potatoes, salt, carom seed, red chili powder, garam masala, turmeric. Then add chopped coriander & green chili chopped in it.
    2. For batter-
    Take 1 cup of gram flour, add a pinch of carom seed, red chili powder, rice flour, add a pinch of baking soda in it and mix well. Then add water in it to make a thick batter.
    3. Cut bread slices in triangle shape.
    4. Place filling over it and place another piece over it and press a little so that they stick with each other.
    5. Dip in the batter.
    6. Heat oil in a kadhai till medium hot oil and fry the bread until golden in color.
    7. Serve it with green chutney & hot tea.
