Steve! It's great to see you out and about again!
Good to see Steve back!
Steve is sounding better everday!
"alacrity" ....Steve has been brushing up on his thesaurus...I had to google (cheerful readiness, promptness, or willingness) is what that means....Steve is on the mend !!!! Heal my brother, Prayers!
Thank you High Octane for putting on these videos. I hope Steve helps you find these cars new homes. They all deserve care and feeding.
Mr Magnante, you're looking better every day, and man does that do my heart good! Great looking Camaro, a "day two" as they've come to be called. Thanks for taking us through this, and thank you High Octane Classics for helping make this possible ~ Chuck
Beautiful car! Always good to see Steve's health and mobility improving.
Ohhhhh thats my favorite !!! Everything is perfect about it !!!!
Great to see you back Steve!!!!
I certainly agree with the posters who mentioned the great progress you have been making. We are certainly glad to see it!
And on a car related note, it's also nice to see someone actually looks at the cars before they are offered for sale at this facility.
While just about any old car can be "nitpicked to death" the quality of work/cars offered here is much better than some of the 'shiny paint specials' offered by some others.
Glad to see you're up and running. Allons-y!
Another great video! I can listen to Steve knowledge about cars all day! Continue recovering ❤️🩹 my friend!🙏
Thank you Steve
Steve its great to see you back at it.
Keep up the great work brother you’re looking better every day hopefully feeling better as well
Steve, so interesting. I met my wife when I sold here a new 71 Chevy Camaro at a Chevy dealership in Milwaukee. That year Camaro has always been our favorite. A true classic, just like my wife.
I am very glad that you have bounced back and are making videos again.
My mom had a new yellow 1972 Camaro while she was pregnant with me. I used to hear all the time growing up every time we saw one, how she had to give it back because she had to quit her job because I gave her bad morning sickness and she could no longer afford the $39 a month lease payment!!! She always wanted another, but things never worked out.
Thank you Steve!👍
Beautiful Camaro
Just a beautiful car
Great video Steve.
Steve's brain is firing on all 8 cylin 5:17 ders! Love me a split bumper!
Great vid Steve!!!! 🤜🤛
Excellent video for TWO reasons....1.) VERY interesting content... and 2.) Looks like you're walking a bit better, glad to see that!
Thanks! Steve 🏎
Beautiful car.
One of the best looking cars in my opinion
stunning car
Wonderful!
This Camaro looks really good. Sensible build. Mild mods. I like it.
Cheers Mags. 🇨🇦
That Camaro almost looks as good as you! Keep getting stronger, pal.
With the VIN (from the HOC website), we win: 1 for Chevrolet, 24 for Camaro V8, 87 for two door coupe, 1 for 1971 model year, N for Norwood, OH assembly, and the rest is the production sequence. The Norwood, OH plant closed in August 1987.
We got the tag (from the HOC website), we can brag: ST71 for 1971 model year, 12487 for Chevrolet (1) Camaro (24) coupe (87), NOR for Norwood, OH assembly, 778 for Green standard interior trim, 43 43 for Lime Green lower and upper exterior paint, 08C for the third week of August 1970 production, among other codes.
I believe that's correct on RPO code "A31" power windows, as they became available in the 1973 model year for the 2nd generation cars. You were correct with your correction---the 2nd generation F body cars (Camaro and Firebird) ran from 1970 to 1981 and the 3rd generation cars started in 1982 (and ran through 1992).
🏆Steve 🏆
Steve rocks
I bought a 71 z28 in the early 80's from a car lot. I got it cheap because it was rough. Peeling aftermarket paint job , lot's of lower body rust. I bought it as a project car after reading an article in hot rod magazine about turbocharging. I took the 4 speed out, replaced it with a 400 with a B&M trans pack. Rebuilt the 350 with 8:1 compression pistons. Put a 3:42 12 bolt posi in it. It was a fun car, would boil those back tires! But, I must admit, I had more fun in the 69 GTS Dart I restored in 2001/2002. It was a #'s matching 340 4 speed. There's just something about a 4 speed that's a blast to drive! It would also boil the back tires with little 14 inch L60 tires 8 3/4 sure grip with 3:55 gears. That car I really miss, but it had to go due to circumstances beyond my control. Great video mags, good to see you out and about! You have a fantastic fan base, and we got your back! Keep on trucking! 👍
Pretty car
The tall d80 spoiler came out in April of 1970 as a COPO option so 70s can have have either spoiler. Both spoilers was avaliable at the start of 71 then the small spoiler was faded out mid year of 71
That is 70-73,The best version imo.
The LT1 350 in 1971 made 360hp from the factory , headers and a bigger carb got 375hp , a cam shaft bumped it up to 400+hp
Great video! The split bumper Camaro is probably my favorite. Thanks for showing it.
Aside from '68 Barracuda notches, these are my favorite old cars. I love the Z/28 treatment.
Split bumper! Favorite year.
Even better it is the full bumper car with split bumpers added. You can tell because the parking lights are below the bumper. The true split bumper car has round lights inside of the headlights above the bumper
@@billyrayvalentine7972 and the enduro nosepiece
My favorite 2nd generation Camaro is the rare one is the Yenko Turbo Z only 19 were built in 1981 and it was the last year for the second generation Camaro and the Firebird even though it’s not mentioned
Beautiful recreation. You can see more improvement everyday Steve. Keep up the good work.
I wonder what the combined Camaro Firebird versus the combined Mustang Cougar sales were?
i like split bumper camaro. 73-78 3 gen 79-81 4th generation 82-87 5th generation.
Nice vehicle! I’m just a sucker for hugger orange.
How is it that a side tank radiator was a GM exclusive? I know Ford used what they called cross flow radiators on some big block cars which had side tanks as well.
I've never figured out what happened. 68 and 9s had a beautiful musclecar shape, and then they decided on the squashed vw bug look.
I can honestly say, hand on heart, I have never seen this model camaro/ firebird and thought it looked like a squahed vw bug. Nope, they all look good. It's your opinion, probably not shared by many.
Is the top of the rear seat back torn?
❤hi steve
The painted the stainless trim black because it’s cheaper
That thing is so smooth & glossy it looks like plastic!
Too bad they don't have an 85mph speedo. It's best when you don't know how fast you're going when you're going over the speed limit.
Nice to see you Steve. Why do people put those hideous huge diameter pimpmobile wheels with tiny O rings for tires on classic cars? Other than those disgusting wheels with no tires, that is a beautiful car. That is blasphemy. That car would look great with 14" or 15" Torq Thrust wheels and RWL tires with actual sidewalls. It should be a crime to desecrate a beautiful classic car like that.
Nothing worse than someone putting RS bumpers on a non RS 70-73 Camaro. Too many things wrong to list with this example of a 71.
That is one butt ugly Camaro body design, Designer had a 2 joint coffee break Steve???
Thank you Steve
Great to see you back Steve!!!!
