Just got used by someone who I thought was a close friend. This isn't the first time this has happened and prior betrayals have affected me and this new one has only made things worse. How can I accept that this isn't the last time this will happen and be able to be by myself without my thoughts consuming me?
I'm really sorry that happened to you, it sounds very painful to go through. Nothing can guarantee that you won't get betrayed again in life, however the best possible thing you can do is to stay strong and remain kind with everyone, and that way I'm sure that one day you will find someone that won't betray you and will appreciate you and love you for who you are. You should try and let go of the people that did you wrong and move on from them, because you don't want to end up like them. Thank you for the comment ❤❤You can do it

It happens I live something very similar.
Whit a lot of deep dark shit before, in the past, so dark no one want to speak about, and no one want to ear it.
I do my best to stay kind, and keep the warmth and the light in my heart. Feeling like, if I let go of it, even only a piece, just a little bit, I will take that step into the void, falling from that cliff.
Falling into deep, powerful and complete hatred towards mankind. With the desire to disappear, and to see this world being absolutely reduced to ashes.
Those are words that hurt to say, to write.
But this is also the truth.
