Exactly right, it is simple economics.
People love to say I'd get rid of all these different people but never think of where we get the money to replace them.
Until we have a sustained player trading model in place you can't expect to spend heavy when there's no return.
I'd love to get rid of the majority of the squad & have younger hungrier players in the team with good sell on value.
I just hope PC gets a decent chance. I feel like he's the first good manager we've had in many years, and hopefully gets a couple of transfer windows before he is judged.

Anyone with any sense knows Clement has had to work with players he didn't choose and has had to deal with half his squad being injured all the time. He is going to make changes to the fitness training to cut down the injuries and he'll be bringing in his choice of players. Judge him next season after he has had a chance.
