That's why Jackie's demonstrations are so nice... She gives you the ideas, but the tools needed are never too complicated. If you have a circle punch but not a hexagon, use your circle. Or just cut a rectangle with your trimmer or a scissors. Stamps can be a big investment, but handwritten can be wonderful... Or use a thin marker to make dots/dashes in the same manner that a die might have embossed "stitching". I haven't been able to afford all of the really nice inks and stamps from Stampin Up but I make do with what I have, and have been doing pretty well for a new card maker. 😊
