And why are you such the expert,,, at times it’s way easier if the shovel operator can’t get trailer perfectly straight or on level ground, how long have u been driving log truck ????
@@northwestlogtrucker4691 yeah I do drive log truck in WA and OR, and if that's the case then your loader man is unfamiliar with the machine or is lacking skill, pulling ahead about 2 feet past where the eyelet Is going to be saves time and less chance of spinning out in snowy and muddy conditions.
Thanks for sharing
nice vids man, use to be a logger in fort bragg california
is that second growth ?
the machines we use in Norway would never have managed those logs
Looks a little light pulling off the landing....lol but there's some nice scale in those sticks
Some of that Redwood is pretty heavy, but I never did see the driver check his scales.
No landing? No problem. Heel boom it.
I'm guessing 6.1 MBF
nothing wrong with that
all cedar goes to Oroville
My Uncle runs a shovel up in that area, wonder if you know him....Brian Barnes?
shovel?
No reason to pull forward so far when the loader takes your trailer off
