I noticed him throwing on a clockwise rotating wheel. Strange to me though I understand is common in Japan. As well wood fire quite rare anywhere. Anything, those tea bowls are my favorite of all his pots.

Interesting technique! No centering, just punch a hole in middle and hope for the best?
