This video suddenly flashed on my phone today and, instantly, lots of memories came crowding. It was Jan 1982. I, a young man of 27, was on a solo trek to Sandakphu from Darjeeling. I had a Sony walkman with me. One of my friends gave me a cassette of Nazia Hassan. I immediately became addicted to the magical voice of Nazia. All through my trek I listened to Nazia, and only Nazia. But I lost track of her afterwards. RIP Nazia.
