Clearly, both are means of communications. The difference is that Web Service almost always involves communication over network and HTTP is the most commonly used protocol. Web service also uses SOAP, REST, and XML-RPC as a means of communication. ... All Web Services are API but APIs are not Web Services.

brother, 1. mujhe ak social media website banana hai or isme bahut sare features hai like Calling, live streaming, Chat, Social network, to kya in sabke liye mujhe alag alag server lena padega for example- Live streaming ke liye media server and calling ke liye freeswitch etc etc 2. how many software can we install on a server ?
aisa kuch nhi hai ..you can buy only one server but achi configuration wala purchase kerna high memory, high storage baki chart ke liye paid libraries hai ..start me normal purchase karo
