I've finally gotten into the flow and started enjoying it, but this great tutorial is gonna get me a lot more mileage out of the game. I know I'm late to the party, but now I wanna finish building my arcade stick and pick up the rest of the SF4 games.

Its difficult to learn when to incorporate the focus attack against human players, I hope you cover that a little in future episodes but so far these two vids are the best out there I've seen.

@SilentPhenomed It's difficult, but rewarding. And although the characters themselves may not be perfectly balanced, I think the fighting system definitely is. There's a way out of everything, and a chance for real mastery if you devote yourself to it.

I don't actually play SFIV but I looked specifically for a video about Focus Attacks so I could know what it's all about, and I must say this video has helped me do that and more. Excellent and infromative work, sir.
My 2 tips for online battles are 1. Never let your guard down, always block. 2. Get used to chaining together large combos. (I use Ryu, Ken, Akuma, etc..)
good job, i guess practicing with ryu and ken are the best bet before going to other characters. Like most street fighter games, it takes dedication. :) Nice Vid
there are 3 ways to get outta a foucs, you forgot to say it'll automatic go after lv.3 :P, even tho you mentioned later. also i think it's better to put the sc and revenge on refill instead of infinate, it'll give people a better idea what's going on. you are doing a great job, thank you
@ToAsTy42o My guess, is that focus cancelling helps you recover faster then just jumping to avoid being hit. And you are more vulnerable when you are jumping. Just my thoughts :P

@calmecac71 the Focus Attack is a technique that you charge and once it hits, it gives you a chance to cancel it into another attack.

just wondering... if your super gauge is empty, focus cancel doesnt work?
