- We are a Korean family in a rural village in the Philippines. In our simple life here in the countryside, we cooked a Filipino food noodle dish Pancit Bihon. We call this Filipino Bisaya noodles Bam-e or Bam-i in our province!

Home isn’t always about the place you were born. It’s where your heart find peace and happiness. Thank you for making the Philippines as your 2nd home.
Before, many Filipinos from the cities considered living in the countryside or province is a low quality lifestyle. But now it's different. Living near the nature is the new luxury.
hahah yes,i am planning to retire in our province
One day soon...after 20 years working abroad...i will build my kingdom in the province... where i grow up..
My thoughts exactly…
Don't like to live in the province. 1 week is enough hell for me. I felt bored.
True. l just got off the grid. l am encouraging my foreign friends to live in province too and they are interested
Aww, this family can melt a filipino heart. They don't just visit here to be just tourist and then leave but they actually live here and immersed themselves with the Filipino culture
You mean "live" 😊
@@hitomi99yearsago34 Yes yes that's what I meant haha sorry. ❤️
they are missionaries that's why they are living here in the Philippines
Kudos to the editor of the video; The vibe of the whole film felt so homey and warm! 🥰
Thank you so much 😀
@@bapmukjago YES! Such a relaxing, warm homey vibe - my kind of video! Great editing!
The mother is a good wife & she can cook. Their lifestyle is truly simple, and I feel relax by watching your vlog. We love Korean people!
I agree ❤
The coolest, who videograph this. This is so aesthetically pleasing. And I am proud that you live a simple life and humble life in the Philippines 🇵🇭
koreans are really simple in living, it just so happen that their place is already industrialized now, I missed my filipino friends in gyeongsan
It’s really nice to watch your vlogs 🥰
Sarap
I applaud how they ate the pancit with bread. The classic Filipino way ❤
I am so impressed at how the mother cooks the traditional way. The fire cannot be controlled so she times her cooking so well. She also uses the "talyasi", a cookware used to do large amount of cooking. Gosh, she is an expert!!! I hope some Filipino chefs would collaborate with you. Chef Tatung would be thrilled!!!
Your Mom is such a good cook. I love watching her cook Korean and Filipino dishes. You and your Dad is so lucky to have her 😊
Yes totally agree.
Their pets also speak Korean 😂 So cute❤❤❤
that’s what i want to comment too 😂😂😂
I'm crying watching the whole video. Tears of happiness seeing them fulfill my dream home. I wanted a house near the beach or mountain, I'll cook meals, have poultry, cats, and dogs. One day, I know God will fulfill my dream too. ❤
Don't give up on that dream.. I live in the city all my life and was lockdown in Condo during rona now living in the beach side and cooking my own food. Nothing grand but really fulfilling and happy
I’ll pray that may God grant you all the wishes of your heart and with it may He also give you good health and all the love your heart can ever have . May He guide your path so you will never get lost in the darkness of this world. God be with you in Jesus name.😊
The contentment and happiness of living a province life with ease was visible to the parents faces. They almost look like a local filipinos and they are glowingly healthy too. As a filipino born myself, I also wish to live in the province and be at peace. I am done with city life. There's more peace in a quiet place
Thank you for serving and spreading God's Word here in the Philippines.
KOREAN AT BIRTH BUT FILIPINO AT HEART FAMILY. SALAMAT SA PAGMAMAHAL SA PILIPINAS. MASARAP MAKITA KAYO NAMING PINOY NA NAPAMAHAL NA KAYO SA PINAS AT SA MGA PINOY.
They look like they're in a movie. Having a peaceful and fulfilling life. Just beautiful❤.
I love the open cooking space and outdoor seating area. It looks so relaxing and beautiful. I love how they also embrace Filipino food. What a wonderful life to watch and envy. ❤
Woah no kidding…she cooks filipino dish so well. This is one of the most well cooked pansit I saw in youtube.
The more I watch these vlogs, the more I miss my Korean coworker who I look up to like a mother (I used to call her my “mama sang”😊). She taught me a lot and shared with me her Korean cuisine and culture. She and I worked well as a team. We complement each other. When she retired I was bawling for days. After she retired, we kept in touch through phone calls. I’m just sad today when I learned that her husband passed away. They used to hike the Hollywood hills or LA river, play golf and travel together. Now, she’s by herself but goes to babysit her grandkids twice a week and does ballroom dancing once a week. I truly miss her whenever I see this family together.
First time watching your vlogs. I’m so impressed at how the family adapted to the simple way of living in the Philippine countryside. I love the native style of the outdoor kitchen.
they name their animals the filipino way, sounds fun and omma always put love in her food, "omma, baegopa"😊
This kind of Mom ❤ really melts my stomach such a one of a kind vlog which I watch 😮 a family who sacrifice their life at SOKOR just to live in a country with a normal pilipino , heart of a filipino . Salutttttee Saranghae aja! Fighting !!!!
You won me, Im a Filipino as well, and so proud that you lived the simple life like what most filipino do
It's always so lovely to see Korean people appreciating Filipino culture. This family is even more heartwarming because they are immersed in real Filipino life and they seem to love their life in the Philippines. Filipino-Korean friendship runs deep and this family is a testament to that.
This is stress free life.
This is my kind of life.

Great drone shots of the countryside. Your place seems so calm and peaceful. ❤️
Just an advice on raising goats. Make a shelter for it to sleep in and as protection from the rain. Goats get sick easily when it is left in the rain. I hope someone gifts you a female one, too!
Thank you! Haha! Yes, we wish our Kanding to have his parter soon! ❤️
Kambing, not kanding

I've been wanting a content like this for years! I'm a Filipina currently living in Korea, I don't watch K-drama so it's hard for me to learn and converse in Korean. I just can't relate to vlogs I find on yt but this one is so fresh! I can relate to the content since it's in the Philippines and you speak Korean. ^^ Can't wait to watch more of your content.
Thank you so much for appreciating our content 🥰 Really appreciate your compliments!
Amazed with your love for our food and culture.
Thank you for choosing Philippines as your second home
OMG, how exciting having a Korean Family cooking and eating BAM-I in the PHILIPPINES !
When you called the Goat "Kanding", nakuratan ko! I knew you guys were Bisaya. Bam-i is definitely a bisdak food! Hahaha
Your YT content is getter better and it's relaxing too. This is the kind of life I've been working hard for, simple yet comfortable. Great job in perfecting your recipes shown on the channel.

I let my grandma watch your videos while she had her lunch and dinner this weekend :). She very much enjoyed her meal while watching 😅
Oh really? We love your lola already 🥰 Thank you so much for watching!
My eomma appa ❤❤❤ Be happy ,healthy ,eat a lot of good foods , here in Pilipinas okay. We support you always , saranghae 😘❣️❣️
annyeonghaseyo.. I think eomeoni is a good cook, like I said before. The longer you lived in the Philippines, the more eomeoni hones her cooking of local food and dishes of the Philippines. I am also amazed at the banding of your family; while eomeoni was cooking rice noodles, abeoji was giving your son a tour, which was fantastic.
Relaxing to watch a simple life like this just eat walk talk and see the nature around us ❤❤❤
Thank you for loving the Philippine culture ❤ “Mabuhay” greetings from Toronto 🇨🇦
Thank u that your enjoying living here in the Philippines. We love our Korean brothers and sisters as well. Stay safe.❤
Loved your Mom and Dad has a positive attitude of living in the Philippines. They really adjusted to the country life. I now realize how lucky we are there of the nice warm weather most of the time. Sorry to hear about your dad's duck. Tell him to build a fence around the duck and chickens. We used to build and put them in a cage/house at night because the mouse eat them. Just my suggestions so your duck will not swim with the storm.
Anyeong sayo, nice to know you embrace Filipino culture
New sind here ,a proud Filipína but currently in England ..thanks for choosing Our country to live ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
That is how we eat bam-i with slice bread and with cold coke cola. This is back in the days where I lived in Cebu. This is an authentic dish. We often times put a chinese sausage together with the pork to capture the aroma. When we have parties this is go-to dish to bring since Filipino spaghetti ingredients are quite expensive nowadays. I prefer Bam-i because of the vegetables. Your channel has potential to grow. I like the provintial life so quite and peaceful. More power !!❤
The ingredients are really fresh looking.
I love this couple..
I love the cinematography. Very nice
I love watching these type if living.Relaxing.Like the background music. Please show us cooking korean foods also.Maraming salamat po.😘
