Lego Technic Heavy Duty Forklift 42108-B model

- I'm very happy to present you my alternative model of the 42108 set.
This is a B model (also called C model). Lego only proposes to build one model with this kit, I propose you here to build a second model with your box, I mean with the pieces you have, you can build this creation.

This heavy duty forklift is very playable, as you can see in the video it has some features :
- raising and lowering the fork
- tilt the fork
- HOG steering
- open the cover to see the fake mechanism
One of the coolest features is the lever that allows you to lower the fork. The lever is located in the cab, which makes it a useful function just like in real machines of this type.
The maximum load when the fork is lowered is equivalent to a Lego battery (with full cells).

Présentation en vidéo de mon modèle alternatif du set 42108 produit par Lego cette année.
C'est un modèle B (également appelé modèle C). Lego propose de ne construire qu'un seul modèle avec ce kit, je vous invite ici à construire un deuxième modèle avec votre boîte, j'entends par là qu'avec les pièces que vous avez, vous pouvez construire cette création.

Ce chariot élévateur a quelques fonctions comme vous avez pu le voir dans la vidéo :
- monter et descendre la fourche
- incliner la fourche
- diriger l'engin grâce aux roues directrices
- ouvrir le capos afin de voir le "faux mécanisme"
L'une des caractéristiques les plus originales est le levier qui permet d'abaisser la fourche. Le levier est situé dans la cabine, ce qui en fait une fonction utile, comme dans les machines réelles de ce type.
La charge maximale lorsque la fourche est abaissée est équivalente à celle d'une batterie Lego (pleine).

By the way: Are you still working on your 3S ropeway?
If you need some technical information you can ask me because as I'm very interested in ropeways I already have a lot of knowledge.
I myself try to build a normal detachable gondola at the moment, I really hope it will work when it's finished, about 10 very similar projects have failed in the past... 😐

About the ropeway, I haven't been able to work on it since a long time. I worked on this Lego alternative model and on some other small projects but this one is a bit stoped.
The reason is also because the last exhibition where I presented the ropeway let me understand that the mechanism works pretty well and the objective is achieved.
(I'm also still at school and I need to work a bit my lessons ;)

Pour la conception du modèle, on peut dire très environ 15h.
Mais tout le temps passé pour aboutir à la publication des instructions de montage, c'est environ 50h de travail.
Ah oui quand même c'est assez énorme moi pour dire mes vidéos j'ai a peut près 1h de montage...
@@fizzmechanic ;) oui c'est plutôt conséquent, pour cette vidéo il y a environ 2h de montage mais parfois c'est plus.
Mais ce qui prend le plus de temps c'est la réalisation du pdf, c'est vraiment un travail...

Il est beaucoup plus réaliste que le modèle officiel du set 42097, je le vois bien sur la remorque plateau (moc) du 42078
Oui en effet ça pourrait bien aller avec le 42078, à toi de tester ;)
@@antoineddp, honnêtement il me tente ce moc , comme ça le 42097 redevient la dépanneuse , sinon qu'elle est sa hauteur max ? Y auras t il une version motorisée/ radio commandée ?
@@ludovicpelletier7529 Avec la fourche en position haute, il fait 35,5cm de haut. (j'ai ajouté les dimensions sur la page rebrickable)
J'ai pas vraiment prévu d'en faire une version motorisée... :/
