My mom made clothes for me growing up and tge only one I didn't like was in 1976 she made me a Betsy Ross costume to wear to school because there were re-enactors of the Redcoats against the bluecoats battling on our softball fields that year in celebration of America's 200th birthday. The teachers loved it but I was the only one dressed like that. I know now that it was special and when my niece was big enough to wear it she loved it. My mom had kept it all those years.
I sew by hand small things all the time cause I have 4 boys so they tear stuff up! other than that I HATE sewing and I never watch sewing vids! but I came across one of yours many vids back and I've watched every single one till I came to this one, and will probably watch all of them before I go to something else!
