Ingredients:
Onion - 1
Grated Coconut - 1/2 Cup
Green Chilli - 1
Salt
Buttermilk - 1 and 1/2 Cup
Seasoning Ingredients:
Ghee - 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Sun-Dried Curd Chilli - 1
Method:
1. Add 1 chopped big-sized Onion to a mixer jar.
2. Add 1/2 Cup fresh grated Coconut.
3. Add 1 Green Chilli and Salt as per taste and little water and grind to a smooth paste.
4. Transfer this paste to a bowl or vessel and add 1 and 1/2 Cup of Buttermilk and mix well.
5. Now we need to do Seasoning for this Onion Tambuli.
6. Add 1 tsp Ghee to a small frying pan.
7. Once Ghee melts, add 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds.
8. Once Mustard Seeds splutters, add 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds.
9. Once Cumin Seeds turn slightly golden, add 1 broken Sun-Dried Curd Chilli.
10. Fry Sun-Dried Curd Chilli till they turn dark brown in colour.
11. Add this Seasoning immediately to the prepared Onion Tambuli and mix it.
Now Onion Tambuli is ready. Serve this Onion Tambuli with hot Rice. Quality cooking wares that I love and recommend. Many of these I use every day in my kitchen and in the videos as well. Thank you.
