The local market is different than the online market and dealers know this and are ready to make thier profits and move some merchandise and I was in the right place at the right time! As a child I would spend weekends at my Dad’s house. He was a jeweller and I would love going through all of his catalogs. I knew the names of all the gems and the month they represent. The earrings do look like Citrine they are November birthstones along with Topaz.

I believe that stone you asked about that had orange in it is called spiney oyster. It kind of looks like a variation of turquoise.

You mentioned several times about testing stones to see if it's glass or a true stone. Can you share your methods? Also, do you know how to test to see if tourquoise is real?? Love your channel!!!!
I have a Presidium gem tester for gemstones. Turquoise is something you just have to learn, find places where you can be assured it is being sold accurately then compare the look feel going forward.
I just love the antique malls you go to and this was no exception. Beautiful stunning pieces of jewellery but my fav piece is the tortoise 🐢 so glad you got it for yourself. I don't collect them but that one is super cute ❤😊

Did you have the jewelry sale this past Sunday or is it another Sunday? The only reason I ask is because I watched for a little while (until I got a call that my daughter was being life flighted), I saw the turtle ring, but I didn't know if you were just showing it off or selling it.

@@TheNICHELady Yes she is doing well, though she is in a lot of pain. My daughter lives in Tennessee & her & her husband are avid skydivers. Well she came in for her landing a little too fast & caught her big toe on a clump of grass as she was trying to run it out. She ended up dislocating her ankle, tearing 4 tendons & ligaments & broke her fibula in 1/2. The drop zones are pretty much in the middle of nowhere or far from trauma hospitals. So thats why she was life flighted. They took her to a hospital 3 hours from home. She decided that she wanted surgery @ home. So surgery is scheduled for Friday. The plan is to finish fixing the dislocation & put plates & screws in her fibula.
I will keep an eye on your shop.

@@TheNICHELady Me too! My mind was going elsewhere when I heard she was being life flighted. I knew she was jumping that day. I was so relieved to hear that she just landed wrong. Even though I feel bad for all the pain she must endure. But like she told me, she knew what she was getting herself into when she started jumping back in 2016. She's had a long haul with no injuries until now. She said IF she decides to continue skydiving, she is going to buy a bigger canopy & do tandem jumping until she feels comfortable. But she most likely won't be jumping for at least a year.

Well lucite is plastic so it's a matter of determining age and quality
