It's a too introspective album to be considered a group work, and they were songs discarded by The Wall just for that reason ... the first disc was amazing too. in the flesh, all three parts of another brick in the wall, the happiest days of our lives, one of my turns, young lust, empty spaces, goodbye blue sky... oh who am i kidding? THE ENTIRE WALL ALBUM WAS AMAZING!!!
@wickedcurve This was filmed at Earl's Court in London during the wall tour in 1980 - most likely as part of the test footage they shot back when they intended the "Wall" movie to be a combination of live concert footage and live-action drama. I could be mistaken but I'm pretty sure that's where this is from and not the American or German performances that came later. (It was never intended for release).

@CelticMedea Yes you are right, Roger Waters suggested firing Richard Wright and Nick Mason for being "lazy creatively" but only ended up firing Rick Wright. Wright was credited as a "Guest Appearance" for this concert.

Just saw Waters do The Wall in Chicago last Saturday.
Best Concert Ever.
The difference in Waters' and Gilmour's voice really helped make Pink Floyd's sound epic. 2 ends of the same spectrum.
